THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE
Declaring Land to be Subject to Part I of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1936
P URSUANT to section 4 of the Native Land Amendment Act,
1936, the Board of Native Affairs hereby declares the land
described in the Schedule hereto to be subject to Part I of the said
Act, and to be included in the Bay of Islands Development Scheme.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area of land in the Tokerau Native Land Court District,
containing 121 acres, more or less, situate in Blocks VI and
VII, Motatau Survey District, and called or known as Motatau 2
Section 16A 1.

CROWN LANDS NOTICE
Lands in Wellington Land District for Selection on Renewable Lease
District Lands and Survey Office,
Wellington, 17th September, 1946.
N OTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned sections are
open for selection on renewable lease under the Land Act,
1924; and applications will be received at the District Lands and
Survey Office, Wellington, up to 4 o'clock p.m. on Friday, 25th
October, 1946.
Applicants should appear personally for examination at the
District Lands and Survey Office, Wellington, on Wednesday,
30th October, 1946, at 10.30 o'clock a.m., but if any applicant is
unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board
or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.
The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the
examination of applicants, and the successful applicant is required
to pay immediately at conclusion of ballot a deposit comprising the
first half-year's rent, broken-period rent, lease fee, and amount of
weighting for improvements (if any).

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
TOWN LAND
Kaitieke County.—Raurimu Township
SECTIONS 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6, Block XI : Area, 1 acre 1 rood. Capital
value, £15; half-yearly rent, 7s. 6d.
These sections are situated in Raurimu Township, three-
quarters of a mile from the railway-station and post-office and one
mile from the school. The area is flat to hilly and is covered in
blackberry.

SUBURBAN LAND
Kaitieke County.—Town of Kaitieke
Section 6, Block V : Area, 2 acres 2 roods 10-6 perches.
Capital value £12; half-yearly rent, 6s.
Weighted with £2 (payable in cash) for improvements, com-
prising four chains of fencing.
This section is situated in the Township of Kaitieke, eight
miles from Raurimu Station and one mile from Kaitieke Post-
office and School. The land, which is level along the road frontage,
drops away to a stream at the back, and is largely covered with
manuka and noxious weeds.

STATE FOREST SERVICE NOTICE
Land in the Westland Land District acquired for a Permanent State
Forest
State Forest Service,
Wellington, 16th September, 1946.
N OTICE is hereby given that the land described in the Schedule
hereto has been acquired under the Forests Act, 1921-22, for
the purposes of a permanent State forest.

WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT.—WESTLAND CONSERVANCY
ALL that area in the Westland Land District, Grey County, con-
taining by admeasurement 1 acre O roods 17 perches, more or less,
being parts of Section 6, Square 123, situated in Block XIII,
Mawheraiti Survey District, and being the lands comprised and
described in certificates of title, Vol. 12, folio 297, and Vol. 12,
folio 298. As the same is delineated on plan No. 120/33, deposited
in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and
thereon bordered red.
