Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby
appoint
Valentine Davis Soper,
Charles Cleaver,
Reginald Cave Hurst,
Derek Vernon Gresson,
Walter George Dunn,
Andrew William Thomas Dunn,
Sydney Allan Davies, and
George Lennox Stenhouse Dunn
to be the Mataroa Domain Board, having control of the land des-
cribed in the Schedule hereto ; and doth hereby appoint Tuesday,
the first day of October, one thousand nine hundred and forty-six,
at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Mataroa Public
Hall as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section
forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National
Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby
appoint
Albert John Gilchrist,
William John Becker,
Bernard Pearson Hayes,
James Irving McKnight,
James Terry McKnight,
Alexander Cameron Warnock, and
George William Barber
to be the Oturehua Domain Board, having control of the land
described in the Schedule hereto ; and doth hereby appoint Thursday,
the twenty-sixth day of September, one thousand nine hundred
and forty-six, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the
Public Hall, Oturehua, as the place where, the first meeting of the
Board shall be held.

Cancelling the Vesting of Part of a Reserve in the Westland Hospital Board

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 11th day of
September, 1946
Present :
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a
reserve for a site for a hospital or other institution within
the meaning of section sixty-one of the Hospitals and Charitable
Institutions Act, 1909, and is vested in the Westland Hospital Board :
And whereas it is expedient that the vesting of the said land
as hereinbefore referred to should be cancelled, and the Westland
Hospital Board has duly consented to such cancellation :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and con-
sent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance
and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by
subsection one of section ten of the Public Reserves, Domains, and
National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby cancel the vesting in the
Westland Hospital Board of the land described in the Schedule
hereto.
SCHEDULE
WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 2 acres 3 roods 20·9
perches, more or less, being part Reserve 386, Block XI, Waiho
Survey District, bounded on the south-east and south-west by the
Waiho–Karangarua Main Highway, 546 links, 233·5 links, and
284·9 links ; on the north-west by Reserve 389, 749·97 links ; and
on the north-east by other part Reserve 386, 400 links : be all the
aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is more particularly
delineated on plan marked L. and S. 6/1/283, deposited in the
Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and
thereon edged red.

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 11th day of
September, 1946
Present :
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the
thirty-fourth section of the Public Reserves, Domains, and
National Parks Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril
Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve
for recreation in the North Auckland Land District described in
the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under
the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of
Part II of the said Act, and such reserve shall hereafter be known
as the Te Toro Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt
with as a public domain.

four of the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint
Roy Archer and
Galbraith William Spittall
to be Honorary Inspectors under the said Act.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General,
this 11th day of September, 1946.

Notice of Intention to issue an Order in Council changing the Purpose of a Reserve in Makoura Village, Wellington Land District
———
B. C. FREYBERG, Governor-General
WHEREAS by subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public
Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928 (herein-
after referred to as the said Act), it is provided that the Governor-
General may from time to time, by Order in Council, change the
purpose of any public reserve or any part thereof, and thereafter
such reserve or part, as the case may be, shall be held and
administered for such changed purpose :
And whereas the land described in the Schedule hereto is a
reserve duly set apart for recreation purposes, and it is expedient
to change the purpose of the said reserve to a reserve for county
purposes :
Now, therefore, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril
Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand,
do hereby give notice, pursuant to subsection two of section seven
of the said Act, that it is my intention to issue an Order in Council
under the provisions of subsection one (a) of section seven of the
said Act, declaring that the reservation over the land described in
the Schedule hereto shall be changed from a reserve for recreation
purposes to a reserve for county purposes.
