Revocation of the Hauraki Gulf Fishing Prohibition Notice 1941
PURSUANT to the Shipping Control Emergency Regulations 1939, the Naval Board of New Zealand hereby revokes the Hauraki Gulf Fishing Prohibition Notice 1941.*

Manufacture for Sale of Footwear
E. J. Morgan, 27 St. Heliers Bay Road, Auckland, has applied for a license to manufacture children's shoes, sizes 10–1, men's, women's, and children's Roman sandals, and women's shoes of the open-sandal type by the machine-sewn, fairstitched, and hand-riveted processes.
J. S. Thompson, 128 Glen Avenue, Mornington, Dunedin, has applied for a license to manufacture men's woolly slippers by the machine-sewn (Blake) process, sizes 5's to 11's.
Fruit-canning Industry
Brown, Barrett (Picton), Ltd., P.O. Box 36, Newmarket, Auckland, has applied for a license to can asparagus, small fruits, and berries.
Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor-spirit
L. D. Russell, Central Garage, Whitianga, has applied for permission to install one additional pump, making a total of two, on the kerbside fronting garage premises in Whitianga.
J. F. Kerr, Herekino Garage, Herekino, has applied for permission to install one additional pump, making a total of two, on garage premises at Herekino.

R. A. and F. E. Witbrock, Ltd., 254 Coringa Road, Fendalton, Christchurch, has applied for a license to resell motor-spirit from two pumps to be installed on garage and service-station premises at 254 Coringa Road, Fendalton, Christchurch.
N. G. Le Sueur, Tomahawk, Dunedin, has applied for a license to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on store premises on the Main Road, Tomahawk.
C. Clarke, Clarke Motors, Browns Bay, Auckland, has applied for a license to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on the kerbside fronting garage premises at Sundown Road, Rothesay Bay.
Applicants and other persons considering themselves to be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry on these applications should, not later than the 19th day of September, 1946, submit any written evidence and representations they may desire to tender. All communications should be addressed to the Secretary, Bureau of Industry, C.P.O. Box 3025, Wellington.

Road cancelled by Order of the Native Land Court

NOTICE is hereby given that the pieces of road described in the Schedule hereto have been declared cancelled by Order of the Court made at Wanganui on the 27th day of April, 1944, pursuant to section 488 of the Native Land Act, 1931.

I, JAMES HARTLEY FISHER, Returning Officer for the purpose of the election of five (5) producers' representatives for appointment to the Hop Marketing Committee established by the Hop Marketing Regulations 1939, made under the Marketing Act, 1936, and the Agriculture (Emergency Powers) Act, 1934, do hereby declare the result of the election on the poll which closed at Wellington at noon on the 28th August, 1946, to be as follows:—
