Altering the Boundaries of the North Canterbury Electric-power District

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Electric-power Boards Act, 1925, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby alter the boundaries of the North Canterbury Electric-power District so as to include the area described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the Land District of Canterbury, being portion of the County of Ashley, situated in the Mount Thomas and Mairaki Survey Districts, and bounded by a line commencing at a point on the existing boundary of the North Canterbury Electric-power District on the eastern bank of the Okuku River, being the intersection of that bank with the western boundary of Block XI, Mount Thomas Survey District; thence southerly along the northern boundary of the said Block XI to its intersection with the northern boundary of Block XIV, Mount Thomas Survey District; thence westerly along the northern boundary of the said Block XIV to its intersection with the right bank of the Garry River; thence southerly along the right bank of the Garry River to the north-western boundary of Rural Section 6399; thence south-westerly along the north-western boundary of the said Rural Section 6399 to its intersection with a public road; thence southerly along that road to the northern boundary of Rural Section 11568; thence westerly, southerly, and easterly along the northern, western, and southern boundaries of the said Rural Section 11568 to the right bank of the Garry River; thence following the right bank of the Garry River to the southern boundary of Reserve 894; thence following the existing boundary of the North Canterbury Electric-power District, as defined in the First Schedule to the Local Legislation Act, 1933, to the point of commencement. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 123999, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 30th day of August, 1946.

Defining the Middle-line of a Road in Block IV, Belmont Survey District—viz., a Deviation of the Old Haywards Hill Road

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the middle-line of a road in Block IV, Belmont Survey District—viz., a deviation of the Old Haywards Hill Road—shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
COMMENCING at a point on the Old Haywards Hill Road opposite the southern boundary of Lot 15 on Deposited Plan 8199, and proceeding thence in a north-westerly direction generally for a distance of about 21 chains and passing in, into, through, or over Lots 16, 21, and 22 on Deposited Plan 8199, being parts Section 196A, Hutt District, and part Section 197, Hutt District, on Deposited Plan 11831, and terminating at a point marked 21 chains on the said Old Haywards Hill Road approximately 2 chains from its junction with the Haywards-Paremata Main Highway; including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses: all in the Wellington Land District. As the same is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 124062, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 30th day of August, 1946.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as street the land described in the Schedule hereto.

Situated in Block XI, Kairanga Survey District (City of Palmerston North). (S.O. 21442.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 124128, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
