SCHEDULE
NELSON LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Buller County, containing by admeasurement a total area of 388 acres 1 rood 20 perches, more or less, described as follows:—
All that area containing by admeasurement 344 acres, more or less, situated in Block VII, Kawatiri Survey District, and Block I, Ohika Survey District, bounded towards the east generally by Sections 123, 124, 125, 126, 127, all of Square 141, and by Crown land; towards the south-west and west by remaining portions of the river-protection reserve, now known as Section 14, Block I, Ohika Survey District, and Section 45, Block VII, Kawatiri Survey District; and towards the north by another portion of the river-protection reserve, now known as Section 46, Block VII, Kawatiri Survey District.
Also all that area containing by admeasurement 26 acres, more or less, situated in Block VII, Kawatiri Survey District, bounded towards the north-east by Crown land; towards the east by Section 123, Square 141; towards the south by a remaining portion of the river-protection reserve, now known as Section 46, Block VII, Kawatiri Survey District; and towards the west and north-west by another remaining portion of the river-protection reserve, now known as Section 45, Block VII, Kawatiri Survey District.
Also all that area containing by admeasurement 18 acres 1 rood 20 perches, more or less, situated in Block VII, Kawatiri Survey District, bounded towards the north generally by Crown land; towards the east and south generally by a remaining portion of the river-protection reserve, now known as Section 45, Block VII, Kawatiri Survey District; and towards the west by a public road.
As the same are more particularly delineated on a plan marked L. and S. 36/1420/a, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon in outline bordered blue. (Nelson Survey Office plan 9268.)

Vesting a Reserve in the Wanganui City Council

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 14th day of August, 1946
Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for recreation purposes: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wanganui:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section nine of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wanganui, in trust, for recreation purposes.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area in the City of Wanganui, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 7·3 perches, more or less, being part Section 62, Left Bank, Wanganui River, bounded towards the north-east by Lot 27 on a plan lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Wellington numbered 20813; towards the south-east by Clapham Street; towards the south-west by Lots 9, 8, and 7 on a plan deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Wellington numbered 2490; and towards the north-west by Lot 6 on Deposited Plan 2490 aforesaid.
Also all that area in the City of Wanganui, containing by admeasurement 39·2 perches, more or less, being part Section 62, Left Bank, Wanganui River, bounded towards the north-east by Lot 36 on a plan lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Wellington numbered 20813; towards the south-east by part Lot 14 on a plan deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Wellington numbered 734; towards the south-west by Lots 3, 2, and 1 on a plan numbered 2490, deposited as aforesaid; and towards the north-west by Clapham Street.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/1107/5g, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (S.O. plan 21264.)

Vesting a Reserve in the Taumarunui County Council

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart for a roadman's cottage-site: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Taumarunui:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section nine of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that from and after the day of the date hereof the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Taumarunui, in trust, for a roadman's cottage-site.

Vesting the Control of a Reserve in the Clydevale War Memorial Board

At the Government House at Wellington, this 14th day of August, 1946
Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart for a site for a war memorial:
And whereas it is expedient that the control of the said reserve should be vested in a special Board as hereinafter provided:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section seventeen of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby vest the control of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto, for the period of five years from the date hereof (unless previously amended or revoked under the said Act), in the under-mentioned persons, namely,—
William Robert Benny,
George Adam Dunlop,
Robert Dunlop,
Ernest Fuller Pannett,
George Alexander Miller,
Charlotte Sophia Kee,
Arthur Vernon King,
James Malcolm Souness, and
Henry Driver Cooksley,
who are hereby constituted for that purpose a special Board by the name of the Clydevale War Memorial Board (hereinafter referred to as the Board), with the powers and subject to the conditions hereinafter contained, that is to say:—

The Board shall meet for the transaction of business at the Clydevale Hall, or at such other place and at such time as may be from time to time fixed by the Board. The first meeting shall be held on the fourteenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and forty-six.

The members of the Board shall at their first meeting, and thereafter at the annual meeting hereinafter mentioned, elect one of themselves to be Chairman, who may join in the discussion and shall have an original as well as a casting vote. The Chairman shall hold office until the election of his successor.

Special meetings may be convened by the Chairman, provided that two days' notice of such meeting be given to each member, specifying the business to be transacted at such special meeting; and no other business than that so specified shall be transacted at such meeting.

Any five members of the Board shall form a quorum. Any meeting may be adjourned from time to time.

If at any meeting the Chairman is not present at the time appointed for holding the same, the members present shall choose one of their number to be Chairman of such meeting.

If, by resignation, death, incapacity, or otherwise, the seat of any member shall be or become vacant, or if any member absents himself, without reasonable cause, from three consecutive meetings of the Board, the Governor-General shall have power to appoint any other person to be a member of the Board in his (or her) stead.

All questions shall be determined by the majority of votes of the members of the Board present at a meeting.

The Board shall have prepared and submitted at an annual meeting held in the month of April in each year a report of the proceedings of the Board for the previous year ending on the thirty-first day of March, together with a statement of the receipts and expenditure of the Board for such year. A copy of every such report and statement, certified by the Chairman to be correct, shall be sent to the Minister of Lands as soon as possible after each annual meeting.
