raising in New Zealand by the said local authority of the said sum
up to the amount of seven thousand pounds (£7,000) for the
purpose for which the said loan was authorized, and in giving such
consent doth hereby determine as follows :—
(1) The term for which the said sum or any part thereof may
be borrowed shall not exceed thirty (30) years.
(2) The rate of interest that may be paid in respect of the said
sum or any part thereof shall be such as shall not produce to the
lender or lenders a rate exceeding three pounds five shillings (£3 5s.)
per centum per annum.
(3) The said sum or any part thereof, together with interest
thereon, shall be repaid by equal aggregate annual or half-yearly
instalments extending over the term, as determined in (1) above.
(4) The payment of such instalments shall be made in New
Zealand, and no such instalments shall be paid out of loan-moneys.
(5) The rate payable for brokerage, underwriting, and
procuration fees in respect of the borrowing of the said sum or any
part thereof shall not in the aggregate exceed one-half per centum
of any amount raised.
(6) No moneys shall be borrowed under this consent after the
expiration of two years from the date hereof.

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 14th day of
August, 1946
Present :
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council
Pursuant to the Harbours Act, 1923, His Excellency the
Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council, doth hereby license and permit Alan
Menzies, Ian Menzies, and Clement Harold Sykes, all of Menzies
Bay, Banks Peninsula, as trustees for the inhabitants of the district
(hereinafter called the trustees, which term shall include their
executors, administrators, or assigns, unless the context requires
a different construction), to use and occupy a part of the foreshore
at Menzies Bay, Banks Peninsula, as shown on approved plan
marked M.D. 7076 and deposited in the office of the Marine Depart-
ment at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining a wharf thereon
as shown on the said plan, such license to be held and enjoyed by
the trustees upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth
in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS
- This license is subject to the Foreshore License Regulations 1940,
and the provisions of those regulations shall, as far as applicable
apply hereto. - The annual sum payable by the trustees shall be one shilling
(1s.), payable on demand. - The term of the license shall be fourteen years from the
8th day of August, 1946. - The master of all vessels discharging ballast at the said
wharf shall have all such ballast taken away and deposited above
high-water mark, or at such place as may be approved of by the
Minister, or by any person appointed by the Minister for that
purpose.

forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National
Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby
appoint

Ronald Prentice Gibb,
John Leslie William Wright,
Samuel Charles Harrison Wilson,
Nelson Randle Johnston,
Cyril Raymond Sheppard, and
William Bathgate Aitchison,
to be the Otekaike Domain Board, having control of the land
described in the Schedule hereto ; and doth hereby appoint Monday,
the twenty-sixth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and
forty-six, at eight o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Soldiers'
Memorial Hall, Otekaike, as the place where, the first meeting of
the Board shall be held.

consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby
appoint
His Worship the Mayor of Bluff, ex officio,
The Chairman of the Bluff Harbour Board, ex officio,
The Commissioner of Crown Lands for the Southland Land
District, or his deputy, ex officio,
Ernest Sheldrake, and
Cecil Brock Tapley
to be the Bluff Domain Board, having control of the land described
in the Schedule hereto ; and doth hereby appoint Wednesday,
the twenty-first day of August, one thousand nine hundred and
forty-six, at two o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Borough
Council Chambers, Bluff, as the place where, the first meeting of
the Board shall be held.
SCHEDULE
Southland Land District.—Bluff Domain
All that area containing by admeasurement 181 acres 0 roods
4 perches, more or less, situated in the Borough of Bluff, being
parts of Sections 3 and 4, Block I, Campbelltown Hundred, and
being all the land contained in Certificate of Title, Volume 149,

In pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred
upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public
Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency
the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by
and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the
said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the reservation for a site for a
post-office over the land described in the Schedule hereto ; and doth
hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is
Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE
Canterbury Land District
All that area in the Ashburton County, containing by admeasure-
ment 2 roods and 30 perches, more or less, being part Reserve 3088,
situated in Block XII, Alford Survey District. As the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/3/294A,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at
Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

In pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred
upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public
Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency
the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by
and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the
said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the reservation for improvement
and protection of the Buller River and for protection of the banks
of the Buller River near Westport over the land described in the
Schedule hereto ; and doth hereby declare that the said land, being
vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the
Land Act, 1924.
