The Poultry Mash Control Notice 1946
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by the Supply Control Emergency Regulations 1939 and the Wheat and Flour Emergency Regulations 1939, the Wheat and Flour Controller hereby directs and gives notice as follows:
- This notice may be cited as the Poultry Mash Control Notice 1946.
- This notice shall come into force on the day next following notification in the Gazette of the making thereof.
- In this notice, unless the context otherwise requires,
"Director-General" means the Director-General of the Department of Agriculture as delegate of the Wheat and Flour Controller for the purposes of this notice, and includes the Assistant Director-General of the Department of Agriculture.

No person shall use any pollard, bran, or wheat-meal for the manufacture of a food or mash suitable for poultry except under and in accordance with a license granted by the Director-General for the purposes of this notice.

(1) Any person may be granted a license by the Director-General to use pollard, bran, and wheat-meal for the manufacture of a food or mash suitable for poultry.
(2) Every license shall be subject to such conditions as may be fixed by the Director-General.
(3) No holder of a license who acquires bran, pollard, wheat-meal, or wheat for the purpose of using it in the manufacture of a food or mash for poultry pursuant to the license shall use, sell, supply, or dispose of the bran, pollard, wheat-meal, or wheat, or the manufactured food or mash, otherwise than in accordance with the conditions of the license or in accordance with any special directions of the Director-General.

Declaring Land subject to Part I of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1936
PURSUANT to section 4 of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1936, the Board of Native Affairs hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be subject to Part I of the said Act.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area of land in the Tokerau Native Land Court District, containing 73 acres 1 rood 5 perches, more or less, situate in Block XIII, Kawakawa Survey District, called or known as Orauta No. 8, and being part of the land formerly known as Motatau 3B 2B.

Including Additional Land in the Mangonui Development Scheme
PURSUANT to section 4 of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1936, the Board of Native Affairs hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be subject to Part I of the said Act, and to be included in the Mangonui Development Scheme.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area of land in the Tokerau Native Land Court District, containing 435 acres 1 rood 13 perches, more or less, being part of Lot 1 on Deposited Plan 507, and being part of the block situated in Blocks VII, Opoe Survey District, and VI, Rangaunu Survey District, called Maxwell's Grant (O.L.C. 6).

I, JAMES PATON LANE, Returning Officer for the election of a member of the Gisborne Land Board, in accordance with the provisions of section 47 of the Land Act, 1924, and the regulations made thereunder, do hereby declare the result of the poll taken on the 31st July, 1946, to be as follows:-

And I hereby declare that Harold Blake Bull, having received the greater number of valid votes, is duly elected a member of the Gisborne Land Board for a term of three years as from the 31st day of July, 1946.

NEW ZEALAND.-SOUTH ISLAND.-BLUFF HARBOUR
THE Bluff Harbour Board advises that the latest hydrographical survey in Bluff Harbour shows that No. 3 leading line bears 310ยฐ 38' and passes 60 yds. north of Channel Rock beacon and 34 yds. north of Mararoa Rock. Mararoa Rock, swept with a steel rail, discloses nothing less than 24ยฝ ft. L.W.O.S.
