HIS Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to approve of the following promotions and relinquishment of temporary rank of officers of the 2nd New Zealand Expeditionary Force:

PROMOTIONS

Lieutenant (temp. Captain) R. D. P. Hassett to be Captain. Dated 1st February, 1946.

N.Z. Medical Corps

Lieutenant (temp. Captain) R. C. Doherty to be Captain. Dated 23rd January, 1946.

TEMPORARY RANK RELINQUISHED
N.Z. Infantry

The notice published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 53, dated 1st August, 1946, relative to Captain (temp. Major) R. P. Norwood, is hereby cancelled, and the following substituted:

“Captain (temp. Major) R. P. Norwood relinquishes the temporary rank of Major and assumes the acting rank of Major. Dated 5th May, 1946.”
