Situated in the Borough of Cromwell (Otago R.D.). (S.O. 9449.)
In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 121929, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 13th day of August, 1946.

Crown Land set apart as a Permanent State Forest

A PROCLAMATION
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State forest.
SCHEDULE
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.—SOUTHLAND CONSERVANCY
ALL that area in the Otago Land District, Waitaki County, containing by admeasurement 175 acres 2 roods 36 perches, more or less, being Sections 8 and 9, Block IX, Otepopo Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 188/2, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 9th day of August, 1946.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a provisional State forest.

GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT.—ROTORUA CONSERVANCY
ALL that area in the Gisborne Land District, Wairoa County, containing by admeasurement 4,870 acres more or less, being Small Grazing-run 108, situated in Block XXVII, Waiau Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 56/3, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (Gisborne S.O. plan 2408.)

As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 51/8, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 47/50, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (Auckland plan S.O. 22896.)

Cancelling the Vesting of an Endowment for the Improvement of the Kawhia Harbour in the Corporation of the County of Kawhia

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 7th day of August, 1946
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is vested in the Corporation of the County of Kawhia as an endowment for the improvement of the Kawhia Harbour:
And whereas it is expedient that the vesting of the said land as hereinbefore referred to should be cancelled, and the Kawhia County Council has duly consented to such cancellation:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one of section ten of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby cancel the vesting in the Corporation of the County of Kawhia of the land described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Kawhia County, containing by admeasurement 6,266 acres 2 roods and 21 perches, more or less, being part Section 1, Block VII, Section 3, Block VIII, and Sections 2, 4, 5, and parts 3 and 7, Block XII, Kawhia South Survey District, and being the residue of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 158, folio 262 (Auckland Land Registry). As the same is more particularly delineated on plan marked L. and S. 44271, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
