A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the nineteenth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and forty-six.
SCHEDULE
Approximate area of the piece of land taken: 3 acres 1 rood 7 perches.
Being part Lot 2, D.P. 1401 (part Mangapoike A Block).
Situated in Block XII, Opoiti Survey District (Gisborne R.D.). (S.O. 4332.)
In the Gisborne Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 123844, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured sepia.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of August, 1946.

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for police purposes (residence); and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the nineteenth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and forty-six.
SCHEDULE
Approximate area of the piece of land taken: 27·32 perches.
Being part Section 9 and part closed street, Block IX, Town of Balclutha.
Situated in the Borough of Balclutha (Otago R.D.). (S.O. 9454.)
In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 122091, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the development of electric-power and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Raetihi as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the nineteenth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and forty-six.

Approximate area of the piece of land taken: 2 acres 3 roods 16·8 perches.
Being part Section 9.
Situated in Block II, Makotuku Survey District. (S.O. 21334.)

Land and an Easement over Land taken for a Post-office in the City of Christchurch

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a post-office; and I do also hereby proclaim and declare that an easement is hereby taken over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto vesting in His Majesty the King full and free liberty, right, license, and authority in perpetuity to construct and use a right-of-way, with the right for His Majesty's servants, agents, and workmen from time to time and at all times hereafter to go, pass, and repass with or without horses or other animals or vehicles over the said land; and to maintain, repair, and keep open the said right-of-way for the purpose of providing access to the said post-office, such right-of-way to be appurtenant to the land described in the First Schedule hereto; and I do also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the nineteenth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and forty-six.
FIRST SCHEDULE
Approximate area of the piece of land taken: 15·6 perches.
Being Lot 2, D.P. 12971, and being part Rural Section 96; edged red.
SECOND SCHEDULE
Approximate area of the piece of land over which the easement is taken: 2·1 perches.
Being part Lot 1, D.P. 12971, and being part Rural Section 96; coloured yellow.
All situated in the City of Christchurch (Canterbury R.D.).
In the Canterbury Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 123963, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 13th day of August, 1946.

SCHEDULE
Approximate area of the piece of additional land taken: 1 rood 11·6 perches.
Being Lot 102, D.P. 271, part Section 56, Masterton Small Farm Settlement, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 61, folio 122 (Wellington Land Registry).
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of August, 1946.

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land which is described in the Schedule hereto and which was taken subject to the right-of-way over part created by Conveyance No. 33391, Deeds Register Office, Dunedin, and to the drainage right and right to overhang eaves in favour of Certificate of Title, Volume 116, folio 232, granted by Memorandum of Transfer No. 28805, Otago Land Registry, for a post-office, to be Crown land for the purposes of the Land Act, 1924, subject to the aforesaid easements.
