Land set apart in the North Auckland Land District as a Site for a
Public School

WHEREAS by section thirty-three of the Education Reserves
Act, 1928, it is enacted that the Governor-General may, on
the recommendation of the Land Board of the district in which are
situated any reserves or endowments vested in the Crown by or in
pursuance of section two of the Education Reserves Amendment
Act, 1910, or of section twenty-two of the first-mentioned Act, set
apart as sites for public schools, secondary schools, or technical
schools any part of such reserves or endowments:
And whereas the Land Board of the North Auckland Land
District has duly passed a resolution recommending that the land
described in the Schedule hereto should be set apart as a site for a
public school, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommenda-
tion:
Now, therefore, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril
Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand,
in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Acts
aforesaid, do hereby set apart the land described in the Schedule
hereto as a site for a public school.
SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Otamatea County, situated in Block XV, Waipu
Survey District, containing by admeasurement 2 acres, more or less,
being portion of the part of Allotment 169, Kaiwaka Parish, as shown
on D.P. 24522, and being part of the land comprised and described in
Certificate of Title, Volume 640, folio 172 (Auckland Registry). As
the same is more particularly delineated on plan marked L. and S.
6/6/862, deposited in the Head Office of the Department of Lands
and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (S.O. plan 33365.)
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General,
this 30th day of July, 1946.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section four
of the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908, I, Lieutenant-General
Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion
of New Zealand, do hereby appoint

Harvey McCormick,
Robert Edward Haydon,
Kenneth Edward Francis,
Eric MacGregor, and
John Henderson
to be Honorary Inspectors under the said Act.
