IN the Notice of a Scheme of Development and Reconstruction dated 24th May, 1946, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 1946, page 725, for the words “Sections 354, 355, 356, and 257, all of Hutt District,” in the fifty-fourth line of the Second Schedule read “Sections 354, 355, 356, and 357, all of Hutt District.”

Alteration of Boundaries, Christchurch Drainage District

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by section two of the Christchurch District Drainage Amendment Act, 1920, and of all other powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare that the area described in the Schedule hereto shall be added to and form part of the Christchurch Drainage District; and, with the like powers and authorities, do hereby also declare that the said area shall be added to the Rural Riccarton Sub-district of the said district.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the County of Waimairi, of the Canterbury Land District, being part of R.S. 56, and being part of Lots 71 and 72 on the plan numbered 201, deposited in the office of the Registrar of Lands at Christchurch, and bounded as follows: Commencing at a point at the intersection of the western side of Waimairi Road with the northern side of Bowen Street, the said point being on the present boundary of the Christchurch Drainage District; thence proceeding westerly 180·9 links along the northern side of Bowen Street to road-widening at the eastern boundary of Lot 1 on the plan deposited as aforesaid and numbered 11174; thence northerly along road-widening and the said eastern side of Lot 1 for a distance of 125 links; thence easterly 180·9 links by a line parallel to Bowen Street to the western side of Waimairi Road, being the present boundary of the Christchurch Drainage District; thence in a southerly direction by that boundary to the commencing point.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 22nd day of July, 1946.

ALL that area in the County of Waimairi, of the Canterbury Land District, part of Rural Section 56, and being Lots 2, 3, and 4 on the plan numbered 440, deposited in the office of the Registrar of Lands at Christchurch, and bounded as follows: Commencing at a point at the south-east corner of said Lot 2 on the north-east side of Yaldhurst Road, the said point being on the boundary of the Christchurch Drainage District; thence proceeding along the north-east side of Yaldhurst Road to its intersection with the south-east side of Church Street; thence by the south-east side of Church Street to the north-eastern boundary of said Lot 4; thence by the north-eastern boundary of said Lots 4 and 3, part of the north-western and the north-eastern boundary of said Lot 2, to the boundary of the Christchurch Drainage District at the north-eastern corner of said Lot 2; thence in a south-westerly direction by that boundary to the place of commencement.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 22nd day of July, 1946.

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Thames Valley – Rotorua Railway.
