A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the development of water-power (Invercargill Substation).

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of additional land taken: 3 acres 1 rood 4·7 perches.
Being part Lot 1, D.P. 2216 (being part of Section 4 and closed road).

Situated in Block II, Invercargill Hundred (Southland R.D.). (S.O. 5664.)

In the Southland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 123610, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 25th day of June, 1946.

Leasehold Estate or Interest in Land taken for a Main Highway Depot in Block XI, Puhi Puhi Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the leasehold estate or interest in the land described in the Schedule hereto, held by Frank Woolmer Parker, of Clarence Bridge, Marlborough, Sheep-farmer, under and by virtue of Crown Lease, Volume 25, folio 228 (Marlborough Registry), is hereby taken for a main highway depot; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the eighth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and forty-six.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the leasehold estate or interest in the land described in the Schedule hereto (held from His Majesty the King by Reginald Herbert Hartley Maidens, of Lauriston, Farmer, under and by virtue of Special Tenure Lease No. 298, Volume 351, folio 66, Canterbury Land Registry) is hereby taken for irrigation purposes (raceman’s cottage).
