NOTICE has been received under the hand of the Returning Officer for the purposes of the first election of members of the Tokarahi Rabbit Board established under the Rabbit Nuisance Act, 1928, that—

Industrial Man-power Emergency Regulations 1944.—Revocation of Declaration of Essential Industry No. 4
IN pursuance of the powers conferred upon him by Regulation 11 of the Industrial Man-power Emergency Regulations 1944, the Minister of Industrial Man-power doth hereby revoke the Declaration of Essential Industry No. 4, as published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 8 of the 22nd January, 1942.
This revocation takes effect as on the 29th June, 1946, and affects the industry of coal-mining, including Government undertakings engaged therein.

Industrial Man-power Emergency Regulations 1944.—Revocation of Declaration of Essential Industry No. 7 and Amendments
IN pursuance of the powers conferred upon him by Regulation 11 of the Industrial Man-power Emergency Regulations 1944, the Minister of Industrial Man-power doth hereby revoke the Declaration of Essential Industry No. 7, as published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 8 of the 22nd January, 1942, together with the amendments thereto, as notified in the—

New Zealand Gazette No. 40 of 27th May, 1943.
This revocation takes effect as on the 29th June, 1946, and affects the industry of sawmilling, including Government undertakings engaged therein, any factory or industrial plant directly dependent on supplies of logs and producing material therefrom, whether for sale, for use, or for further manufacture, by any process, of lengthwise sawing, of maceration into wood-fibre, or of peeling or slicing into veneers or plywood, and also any operations engaged in the supply of logs to these factories or industrial plants, or in the delivery of timber materials as required by the Timber Controller, or in the production of power and telegraph poles, railway sleepers, fencing materials, and firewood.
