In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of the Temuka Storage Company, Limited (in Voluntary Liquidation).
NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders of the Temuka Storage Company, Limited, duly convened and held on the 7th day of June, 1946, it was resolved that the company be wound up voluntarily, and that WALTER FRANCIS EVANS, of Temuka, be appointed liquidator.

THE liquidator of Frank Smith Rangarangai, Limited, which is being wound up voluntarily, doth hereby fix the 8th day of July, 1946, as the day on or before which creditors of the company are to prove their debts or claims and to establish any title they may have to priority under section 258 of the Act, or to be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before such debts are proved, or, as the case may be, from objecting to such distribution.

MAKERUA DRAINAGE BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING AND LEVYING SPECIAL RATE
Pumping Plant Supplementary Loan, 1945
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Makerua Drainage Board hereby resolves as follows :—
“That, for the purpose of providing for payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Pumping Plant Supplementary Loan, 1945, authorized to be raised by the Makerua Drainage Board under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of completing the work for which the Pumping Plant Loan, 1943, £3,250, was raised, the Makerua Drainage Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of three-twentieths (3/20ths) of a penny in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property classified ‘A’ within the Central Area Special Rating District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, being a period of fifteen (15) years from the 31st July, 1946, and be payable on the 1st day of February in each and every year during the currency of such loan or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above resolution was passed at the regular monthly meeting of the Board held on Thursday, the 13th day of June, 1946.

COROMANDEL COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR A ROAD AND TO CLOSE A ROAD
In the matter of the Counties Act, 1920, and the Public Works Act, 1928.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Coromandel County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work—namely, the Waiwawa River Access road—and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the First Schedule hereto are required to be taken and the portion of the road described in the Second Schedule hereto is required to be closed.
Notice is hereby further given that a plan (Survey Office No. 32868) of the lands so required to be taken and of the portion of road so required to be closed is deposited in the public office of the Clerk to the said Council, situate at the Council Chambers, Kapanga Road, Coromandel, and is open for inspection (without fee) by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work, or by the taking of such lands, or the closing of the said portion of road, who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work, or to the taking of the said lands, or to the closing of the said portion of road, must state their objections in writing, and send the same to, or lodge the same at, the office of the County Council, Kapanga Road, Coromandel, within forty days from the first publication of the notice—i.e., on or before the 29th day of July, 1946.

ASHBURTON ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Ashburton Electric-power Board hereby resolves :—
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on the loan of forty-five thousand pounds (£45,000), authorized to be raised by the Ashburton Electric-power Board under the above-mentioned Act, for the further reticulation of the Board’s district, the said Ashburton Electric-power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-fourteenth (1/14th) of a penny in the pound sterling upon the capital value of all rateable property in the Ashburton Electric-power District, as defined by Proclamation proclaiming the said area dated the 17th day of November, 1921, and extended by Proclamation dated the 14th day of March, 1938; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of July and 1st day of January in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty (20) years or until the loan is fully paid off.”
