Notices to Persons affected by Applications for Licenses under Part III
of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936

Manufacture for Sale of Footwear
Vivian Slippers, Limited, 24 Bond Street, Wellington, has
applied for a license to manufacture women's shoes by the machine-
sewn, riveted, and stick-on processes.

E. A. Reynolds and T. W. Lockington, Auckland Footwear
Repair Company, Newmarket, Auckland, has applied for a license
to permit in their factory at 332 Broadway, Newmarket, fairstitching,
screwing, and finishing processes of men's, women's, and children's
footwear of all types for the trade.

Radio-manufacturing Industry
M. C. Rhodes, Rhodes Radio and Electrical Supplies, 7A
Ponsonby Road, Auckland, has applied for a license to manufacture
one hundred radio sets per year.

M. R. Lenihan, Universal Radio Company, 31 Ponsonby Road,
Auckland, has applied for a license to manufacture radio sets.

Pharmacy Industry
R. H. Hay, The Strand, Tauranga, has applied for a license to
operate a new pharmacy in premises to be built in Cameron Road,
Tauranga, near the intersection of Eleventh Avenue.

Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor-spirit
M. A. Malone, Riverlea, has applied for a license to resell
motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on premises known as
Malone's Riverlea Store.

E. W. Blomfield, 8 Conway Street, Oamaru, has applied for a
license to resell motor-spirit from proposed new service-station
premises to be erected at the corner of Thames Highway and
Caledonian Road, Oamaru.

H. N. Jackson, Broadway, Kaikohe, has applied for permission
to shift three pumps from their present position in Broadway to a
new site outside new premises adjoining the Kaikohe Hotel.

Aircraft Service (N.Z.), Limited, Mangere, has applied for a
license to resell motor-spirit at Mangere Aerodrome.

R. S. and G. M. Peden, Karitane, has applied for a license to
resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on premises at
Main Road, Karitane.

Mansion House (Kawau), Limited, P.O. Box 1, Otahuhu, has
applied for a license to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be
installed on the wharf at Kawau.

J. Peach, Grey Street, Woodville; has applied for a license to
resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on garage premises
in Grey Street, Woodville.

R. R. Smith and L. A. Clarke, Smith and Clarke Transport,
Whitianga, have applied for a license to resell motor-spirit from two
pumps to be installed on garage premises at Whitianga.

E. R. Mortimer, Lumsden, has applied for a license to resell
motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on garage premises at
Lumsden.

William Foote, Te Teko, has applied for a license to resell
motor-spirit from two pumps to be installed on proposed new
garage premises at Te Teko.

Applicants and other persons considering themselves to be
materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry on
these applications should, not later than the 4th day of July, 1946,
submit any written evidence and representations they may desire
to tender. All communications should be addressed to the Secretary,
Bureau of Industry, C.P.O. Box 3025, Wellington.
