Consenting to the Establishment and Maintenance of an Aerodrome by the Napier Borough Council

Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Empowering (Aviation Encouragement) Act, 1929, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby consent to the establishment and maintenance of an aerodrome by the Napier Borough Council on the land described in the Schedule hereto.

Directing Sale of Railway Land at Mount Eden under the Public Works Act, 1928

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby direct the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required for the public work for which it was taken.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land directed to be sold: 0·95 perch. Being part Railway land comprised in Proc. 500.

Situated in Block XVI, Waitemata Survey District, Mount Eden Borough. (S.O. 33959.)

In the North Auckland Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 8325, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Regulations under the Naval Defence Act, 1913, amended

Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by section twenty-five of the Naval Defence Act, 1913, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, with the advice of the Executive Council, doth hereby amend and supplement the regulations referred to in the Schedule hereto as shown therein.

SCHEDULE

Regulations for the Government and Payment of the Royal New Zealand Navy, 1939

ARTICLE 51.—ENTRY OF RECRUITS, ENGAGEMENTS, RE-ENGAGEMENTS, ETC.

PARAGRAPH 9: Add—

“NOTE.—The instructions given in paragraph 9, Article 51, of these regulations are temporarily in abeyance, with discretion to the Naval Board to exceed the prescribed age limits where circumstances necessitate, as from 20th February, 1946.”

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by section twenty-five of the Naval Defence Act, 1913, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, with the advice of the Executive Council, doth hereby amend and supplement the regulations referred to in the Schedule hereto as shown therein.

SCHEDULE

Regulations for the Government and Payment of the Royal New Zealand Navy, 1939

ARTICLE 106.—DEFERRED PAY : OFFICERS

Paragraph 2: Delete last three lines and substitute (with effect from 23rd March, 1945):—

“An additional allowance of 2s. a day is payable to Surgeon Lieutenants, Surgeon Lieutenant-Commanders, Surgeon Commanders, and Surgeon Captains, but not to Dental Officers.”
