Varying the Determinations in respect of the Southland Hospital Board's Loan of £13,800

His Excellency the Administrator of the Government in Council
WHEREAS by Order in Council made on the twenty-fifth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five, and subject to the determinations as to borrowing and repayment therein set out, consent was given to the raising in New Zealand by the Southland Hospital Board (hereinafter referred to as the said local authority) of a loan of thirteen thousand eight hundred pounds (£13,800), to be known as Riverton Hospital Nurses’ Home Additions Loan, 1945 (hereinafter referred to as the said loan):
And, whereas the authority conferred by the said Order in Council has not yet been exercised, and it is expedient to vary the determinations aforesaid in respect of the said loan:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by section eleven of the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926, as set out in section twenty-nine of the Finance Act, 1932 (No. 2), and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby vary the determinations aforesaid in respect of the said loan, prescribing as follows:—
(1) In lieu of a rate of interest not exceeding three pounds ten shillings (£3 10s.) per centum per annum the rate of interest that may be paid in respect of the said loan shall be such as shall not produce to the lender a rate or rates exceeding three pounds seven shillings and sixpence (£3 7s. 6d.) per centum per annum.
(2) In lieu of repayment by equal aggregate annual or half-yearly instalments of principal and interest, as specified in clause three of the said Order in Council, the said loan, together with interest thereon, shall be repaid by half-yearly instalments in the half-years set out in the first column of the Schedule hereunder of the amounts set opposite each half-year in the second column of the said Schedule. Each such half-yearly instalment includes a repayment of principal amounting to three hundred and forty-five pounds (£345) and a half-year’s interest calculated at the rate of three pounds seven shillings and sixpence (£3 7s. 6d.) per centum per annum, as determined in clause one above, on the amount of principal outstanding immediately prior to the date of payment of such instalment.

Directing the Sale of Land in the City of Wellington

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby direct the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required for the purpose for which it was acquired.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land directed to be sold: 2 acres 1 rood 10 perches.
Being part Section 2, Harbour District.
Situated in Block XI, Belmont Survey District (City of Wellington). (S.O. 20752.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 122820, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
The member of the Thames County Council representing the Tairua Riding, ex officio,
James Charles Fredrick Spiers,
Olive Seaby Knox Sheppard,
George Ralph Nisbett, and
Allan John Beach
to be the Tairua Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Wednesday, the twenty-ninth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty-six, at half past seven o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Tairua Dairy Company’s premises, Tairua, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Auckland City Council on the fourteenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and forty-six, in so far as it affects the side and portion of street described in the Schedule hereto, viz.:—
“The Auckland City Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the City of Auckland, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to that portion of France Street adjoining portion of Lot 23, being part Allotment 7, Section 7, Suburbs of Auckland”;
