DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP
THE partnership heretofore carried on by ERIC NELSON BAKER and VINCENT LIONEL MICHIE at Kaikohe, under the style or name of “Baker & Michie,” is dissolved as from the 28th day of February, 1946.
The car-painting and body-building business heretofore carried on by the partnership will be carried on as from the 1st day of March, 1946, by the said ERIC NELSON BAKER on his own account at the old address of the partnership.

PURSUANT to the Mining Act, 1926, the undersigned, His Majesty the King, hereby applies for a license for a water-race, as specified in the Schedule hereto, the course whereof has been duly marked out for the purpose.

LOCALITY of the race, and of its starting and terminal points; also description of land traversed—e.g., unalienated Crown land, private land, or otherwise: Commencing at a point in the right hand branch of northern branch of Luggate Creek at the intake of Water-race 1496, and following thence the course of the said race and terminating at the grantee’s freehold and leasehold land at Luggate, the water to run in grantee’s water-race held under license now No. 1497.
Length and intended course of race: 3 miles east then north or thereabouts.
Points of intake: One.
Estimated time and cost of construction: Already constructed.
Mean depth and breadth: 4 ft. wide 1 ft. 6 in. deep.
Number of heads to be diverted: Two.
Purpose for which water is to be used: Irrigation.
Proposed term of license: Twenty-one years.

Mean depth and breadth: 4 ft. by 1 ft. 6 in.

Purpose for which water is to be used: Irrigation.
Proposed term of license: Twenty-one years.

NOTICE is hereby given that an election, in terms of the Pharmacy Board Election Regulations 1940, to fill a vacancy on the Pharmacy Board caused by the resignation of Mr. Andrew Doig, of Wanganui, was held on the 3rd May, 1946.
Two candidates were nominated, and votes were recorded as follows:—
