NOTICE is hereby given that the Public Trustee has filed in the Supreme Court an election to administer in respect of the several estates of the persons deceased whose names, residences, and occupations (so far as known) are herein set forth :—

Appointment of Deputy District Public Trustee
NOTICE is hereby given that, in pursuance of the power and authority vested in me by section 3 of the Public Trust Office Amendment Act, 1921–22, I, the Public Trustee of the Dominion of New Zealand, have appointed George Frederick Whitlock, of the Public Trust Office, Masterton, to be deputy of the District Public Trustee, Masterton, during the absence of such District Public Trustee from his headquarters from any cause, and all previous Warrants appointing any deputy of the said District Public Trustee have been revoked.

Appointment of Deputy District Public Trustee
NOTICE is hereby given that, in pursuance of the power and authority vested in me by section 3 of the Public Trust Office Amendment Act, 1921–22, I, the Public Trustee of the Dominion of New Zealand, have appointed Berkeley Phelps Hopkins, of the Public Trust Office, Whangarei, to be deputy of the District Public Trustee, Whangarei, during the absence of such District Public Trustee from his headquarters from any cause, and all previous Warrants appointing any deputy of the said District Public Trustee have been revoked.

Notice to Persons affected by Applications for Licenses under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936
Manufacture for Sale of Footwear
G. Ward, Waihi, has applied for a license to permit the manufacture of women’s and children’s footwear by the machine-sewn and riveted processes.
Messrs. Berry and Bickerton, 91 Newton Road, Auckland, have applied for a license to manufacture ladies’ and children’s sandals, by the auto-soling and stuck-on processes, and clogs.
F. B. Browning, Victoria Street, Dargaville, has applied for a license to manufacture ladies’ wedgies (crossover-strap type and heelless) and men’s Roman sandals.
E. Bowers, Bowerco Products, 80 Manners Street, Wellington, has applied for an extension of its existing license so as to permit the use of “fairstitched” process in the manufacture of sporting footwear.
Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor-spirit
E. J. Aylward, Moorehouse Street, Morrinsville, has applied for a license to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on garage premises situated in Moorehouse Street, Morrinsville.
W. R. Pentecost, Tutuanui Garage and Engineering Co., Tutuanui, has applied for a license to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on garage premises on the main Hamilton – Te Aroha Highway, Tutuanui.
A. C. Anderson and T. A. Wightman, Tirau Road, Putaruru, have applied for a license to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on garage premises situated in Tirau Road, Putaruru.
Canvastown Co-op. Dairy Co., Ltd., Wakamarina Road, Canvastown, has applied for a variation of conditions of its existing motor-spirit retail license to permit of sales of motor-spirit through a portable pump.
H. J. Owens, P.O. Box 6, New Lynn, Auckland, has applied for a license to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on service-station premises on the Titirangi–Laingholm Road, Woodlands Park.
Applicants and other persons considering themselves to be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry on these applications should, not later than the 23rd day of May, 1946, submit any written evidence and representations they may desire to tender. All communications should be addressed to the Secretary, Bureau of Industry, C.P.O. Box 3025, Wellington.

CORRIGENDUM
In the New Zealand Gazette No. 26, dated 24th April, 1946, on page 533, under the heading “Notice to Persons affected by Applications for Licenses under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936,” notice was given of an application having been made by A. M. Kane, Te Kihi, for a license to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on proposed garage premises “Te Kihi.”
That notice is hereby cancelled and the following substituted therefor:—
“A. M. Kane, Te Hiki, has applied for a license to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on proposed garage premises, Te Hiki.
“The applicant and other persons considering themselves to be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry on this application should, not later than the 23rd day of May, 1946, submit any written evidence and representations they may desire to tender. All communications should be addressed to the Secretary, Bureau of Industry, C.P.O. Box 3025, Wellington.
