to be Returning Officer and person to prepare the roll of electors for the first election of a Board of Commissioners for the Taupo Town District; also to appoint Saturday, the 1st day of June, 1946, as the day, and Rickitt’s Hall, Taupo, as the place, for holding such first election; and also to appoint Wednesday, the 19th day of June, 1946, at 2 o’clock in the afternoon, as the time, and the office of the Taupo Road Board, Titiraupenga Street, Taupo, as the place, for holding the first meeting of the Board of Commissioners so elected.

PURSUANT to the powers vested in him by section 37 of the Rabbit Nuisance Act, 1928, the Minister of Agriculture doth hereby appoint the persons whose names are set forth in the Schedule hereto, being persons appointed as Inspectors under Part I of the said Act, to be members of the respective Rabbit Boards set opposite the name of each such person in the said Schedule, and, in further pursuance of the said powers, doth hereby revoke the appointment of Alexander Kinghorn, as a member of the Central Hawke’s Bay, Southern Hawke’s Bay, Pahiatua, Puketoi, Akitio, and Pongaroa Rabbit Boards.
