Abolishing Dipton River District, County of Southland

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the River Boards Act, 1908, and the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act, 1941, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the Dipton River District, situated in the Southland Catchment District, shall be and is hereby abolished.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 15th day of January, 1946.

Member appointed to the Frankton Aerodrome Board

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 16th day of January, 1946
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. W. NASH PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS by an Order in Council dated the twenty-fourth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven, and published in the Gazette of the second day of December of that year, the control of a reserve for aerodrome purposes in the Otago Land District was vested in certain persons therein named, who were by the said Order in Council constituted a special Board, by the name of the Frankton Aerodrome Board, in pursuance of section seventeen of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928:
And whereas it is desirable that Henry William Sew Hoy should be appointed a member of the said Board in place of John Slater Royds, resigned:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by section seventeen of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby appoint the said
Henry William Sew Hoy
to be a member of the Frankton Aerodrome Board, constituted by the Order in Council dated the twenty-fourth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven, hereinbefore referred to, in place of the said John Slater Royds, resigned.

Changing the Purpose of Part of a Reserve in the Tuatini Native Township, Gisborne Land District

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 16th day of January, 1946
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. W. NASH PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms part of a reserve duly set apart for public buildings:
And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation over such land shall be changed to a reserve for recreation purposes:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose of the reservation over the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a reserve for public buildings to a reserve for recreation purposes.
SCHEDULE
GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 2 acres 2 roods 4·6 perches, more or less, being part of Section 1, Block X, Tuatini Native Township, Block VIII, Tokomaru Survey District, and bounded as follows: On the east by Moana Street, bearing 173° 27′, 454·9 links; on the south by Section 2, Block X, Tuatini Native Township, bearing 90° 25′, 565·7 links; on the west by other part of Section 1 aforesaid, bearing 187° 16′, 551·2 links; and on the north by Rimuroa Street, bearing 103° 06′, 454·3 links. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/3/143A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
