Defining the Middle-line of a Road in Block XI, Waiwera Survey District—viz., a Deviation of Portion of the Birkenhead-Maungaturoto Main Highway

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the middle-line of a road desired to be constructed over Block XI, Waiwera Survey District—viz., a deviation of portion of the Birkenhead-Maungaturoto Main Highway—shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
COMMENCING at a point on the Birkenhead-Maungaturoto Main Highway at McKeown’s Bridge and proceeding thence in a north-easterly direction generally for a distance of approximately 1 mile 18 chains, and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands, &c., viz.: Part Allotment 16, part Allotment 16, D.P. 9975, Lot 1, D.P. 9296, being part Allotment 15, part Allotment 15, D.P. 3450, Allotment 22, Allotment 21, Allotment 20, D.P. 11520, Parish of Okura, part Allotment 172, part Allotment 178, and parts Allotment 179, Allotment 180, part Allotment 177, part Allotment 61, Allotment 61, part Allotment 61, part Allotment 61, D.P. 6884, Parish of Waiwera, and terminating at a point on the said Birkenhead-Maungaturoto Main Highway about 3 chains east of the eastern boundary of part Allotment 61, D.P. 6884, Parish of Waiwera, including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses: all in the North Auckland Land District. As the same is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 122918, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red and marked A–B.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 4th day of April, 1946.

Road closed for Defence Purposes in Block XI, Waitemata Survey District

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the road described in the Schedule hereto is hereby closed for defence purposes.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 4 acres 1 rood 35·5 perches.
Adjoining or passing through Allotments 422 and 423, part land in Proclamation 9965, and Lots 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 42, 82, and parts 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, and 41 on D.P. 8956, part Lot 2 on D.P. 9613, Lots 51, 52, 54, 56, 57, 59, 60, 62, 63, and parts 64, 65, 66, 67, and 68 on D.P. 19725, being part Allotment 12, Waipareira Parish.
Situated in Block XI, Waitemata Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 33793.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 123098, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 4th day of April, 1946.

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.

All in the Southland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 122774, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 4th day of April, 1946.
