ALL that area situated in the City of Palmerston North, containing by admeasurement 5 acres 2 roods 35·45 perches, more or less, being Lot 54 on S.O. plan 20714, and being a subdivision of parts Suburban Sections 1023 to 1030 inclusive, Township of Palmerston.
Also all that area situated in the City of Palmerston North, containing by admeasurement 16·24 perches, more or less, being Lot 9 on S.O. plan 20657, and being a subdivision of part Rural Section 387, Township of Palmerston.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plans marked L. and S. 1/1107/5 and 1/1107/5A respectively, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 13th day of March, 1946
Present :
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS by subsection two of section eighteen of the Public Service Act, 1912, it is enacted that the Commissioner may, whenever it appears advantageous to the Public Service so to do, certify to the Governor-General that it is expedient to add any office to or to abolish any office from the Administrative Division of the Public Service of New Zealand; and the Governor-General in Council may, upon such certificate, add any office to the Administrative Division or abolish any office therein :
And whereas the Public Service Commissioner has certified to the Governor-General that it is expedient to add the office of Secretary, Industries and Commerce Department, to the said Administrative Division :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by the said section, and of all other powers enabling him in this behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby add the office of Secretary, Industries and Commerce Department, to the said Administrative Division.

Authorizing the Laying-off of a Street in the Borough of Hastings of a Width less than 66 ft., but not less than 50 ft., subject to a Condition as to the Building-line

THE RIGHT HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1928, and the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby authorize the Hastings Borough Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto of a width less than sixty-six feet but not less than fifty feet, subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the said street (as shown on the plan referred to in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of forty-eight feet from the centre-line of the said street.

THAT proposed street in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, Borough of Hastings, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 1 rood 17 perches, more or less, being parts Lots 2, 3, 5, 6, and 9, D.P. 3041, part Heretaunga Block. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 122601, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Present :
THE RIGHT HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the New Plymouth Borough Council on the twentieth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five, viz. :
“The New Plymouth Borough Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the Borough of New Plymouth, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight, subsection one, of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to the northern side of the portion of Courtenay Street adjoining Section 2057 and part Section 2056, Town of New Plymouth, Certificates of Title, Volume 127, folio 109, and Volume 76, folio 29 (Taranaki Registry)”;
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the northern side of the portion of Courtenay Street (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of street.
SCHEDULE
THE northern side of all that portion of street situated in the Taranaki Land District, Borough of New Plymouth, known as Courtenay Street, fronting Section 2057 and part Section 2056, Town of New Plymouth. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 123059, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

“The Waimea County Council, being the local authority having control of the roads in the County of Waimea, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to the north-eastern side of portion of Waimea West Road nor to the north-western side of public road fronting subdivision of part Section 60, Waimea West, Block V, Waimea Survey District (Certificate of Title 63/161)”;
