The electric lines adapted for the supply of electrical energy
within the area of supply described in clause three hereof,
being the electric lines at present erected or proposed to
be erected as shown by means of red and green lines on
the plan marked P.W.D. 108622, and deposited in the
office of the Minister of Works at Wellington.

The system of supply through lines erected under this Order
in Council shall be as described in paragraphs (a) and (f) of clause
21-01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935. The transmission
voltage between the licensee’s main substation adjacent to the
Public Works Department’s Edgecumbe Substation and the Borough
Main Substation in Whakatane shall be 22,000 volts between phases,
and between the latter and the Borough Pumping-station in
Whakatane County the transmission shall be 3,300 volts between
phases, provided that in each case the licensee may, with the prior
consent in writing of the Minister of Works and subject to such
conditions as he may impose, change the existing transmission
voltage to the standard 11,000 volts between phases. -
The said three Orders in Council above mentioned are hereby
varied so far and so far only as is necessary to give full effect to the
provisions of this Order in Council, and any electric line authorized
by this Order in Council that was not authorized by the existing
license shall be subject in every respect to the Electrical Supply
Regulations 1935, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935, and
any regulations made in amendment or amplification thereof or in
substitution therefor as if this Order in Council were a new license
under those regulations.

SCHEDULE
PART I
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by
admeasurement 53 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing
at a point on the northern boundary of Section 9, Block II,
Whakatane Survey District (Recreation Reserve), distant 47·33
links from its north-eastern corner; thence following right lines on
the following approximate bearings and distances: 3° 25′ for 155 ft.,
108° 45′ for 1,515 ft. to the northern point, Bath Rock; thence
93° 15′ for 850 ft. to the north-western corner of the old wharf;
thence along the generally northern side of the old wharf to the
boundary of the Whakatane Borough, as described in Gazette, 1929,
page 1801; thence in a generally south-westerly and northerly
direction following that boundary to the point of commencement.
Also all that area containing by admeasurement 1 acre 1 rood
15 perches, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the
north-eastern corner of the old wharf; thence following right lines
on the following approximate bearings and distances: 84° 00′ for
110 ft., 75° 00′ for 315 ft., 86° 30′ for 570 ft. to the new wharf;
thence along the northern and eastern sides of the new wharf to
the boundary of the Whakatane Borough, as described in Gazette,
1929, page 1801; thence in a westerly direction generally following
that boundary and the generally north-eastern side of the old wharf
to the point of commencement.
Also all that area containing by admeasurement 14 acres
2 roods, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the north-
eastern corner of the new wharf; thence following right lines on
the following approximate bearings and distances: 79° 45′ for
460 ft. to rock training-wall; thence along the said wall 66° 45′
for 180 ft., 59° 45′ for 195 ft., 53° 00′ for 135 ft., 46° 50′ for 275 ft.,
37° 00′ for 180 ft. to Irakewa Island; along the north-western end
of Irakewa Island to its northernmost point; 36° 45′ for 590 ft.
along rock training-wall to Flat Rock, around the north-western
face of Flat Rock to its northernmost end; thence along rock
training-wall 39° 45′ for 230 ft., 31° 30′ for 150 ft., 24° 00′ for
215 ft. to Heads Rock; along western side of said rock 358° 00′
for 60 ft.; thence 20° 30′ for 500 ft., 92° 00′ for 340 ft. to mean
high-water mark as defined by plan S.O. 23680; thence in a south-
westerly direction generally along the aforesaid high-water mark
and the northern boundaries of Subdivision 1 of Allotment 260c,
Allotments 260B and 260A, all of Waimana Parish, and the north-
eastern end of the new wharf to the point of commencement.
PART II
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, Whakatane County,
containing approximately four and three-quarter acres, bounded:
Commencing at the south-western corner of part Lot 1 of Allotment
245, Waimana Parish, on D.P. 12340; thence towards the north-
east by part Lot 1 aforesaid; towards the south-east by part
Allotment 245, Waimana Parish, on D.P. 23787; towards the south-
west generally by Lot 1 on D.P. 25400, Allotment 273, Waimana
Parish, and the crossing of Bay View Road; and towards the north-
west generally by the Whakatane Borough, as described in Gazette,
1937, page 2215, and Gazette, 1939, page 1818, to the point of
commencement.
Also all that area containing approximately twelve and three-
quarter acres, bounded: Commencing at a point on the southern
side of Muriwai Road, being the north-eastern corner of Section 42,
Whakatane Township; thence towards the north, east, south,
and west by the Whakatane Borough, as described in Gazette,
1937, page 2215.

Ellerslie, exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the
Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-
line

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public
Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling
him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby
approve of the following resolution passed by the Ellerslie Borough
Council on the fifteenth day of January, one thousand nine hundred
and forty-six, viz. :
“‘The Ellerslie Borough Council, being the local authority
having control of the streets in the Borough of Ellerslie, by
resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred
and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not
apply to the northern side of portion of Te Coma Street adjoining
parts Lots 537 and 538 of Allotments 6 and 7 of Section 12,
Suburbs of Auckland, comprised in C.T. 391/101 ”;
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall
at any time be erected on the land fronting the northern side of the
portion of Te Coma Street (described in the Schedule hereto) within
a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion
of street.

THE northern side of all that portion of street situated in the North
Auckland Land District, Borough of Ellerslie, known as Te Coma
Street, fronting part Lot 538, D.P. 178, Suburbs of Auckland.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
P.W.D. 123039, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

“‘The Tahunanui Town Board, being the local authority
having control of the roads in the Tahunanui Town District,
by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred
and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not
apply to the south-eastern side of portion of Edward Street
fronting subdivision of Lot 41 (D.P. 1413), part Section 2,
Suburban South District, Block IV, Waimea Survey District,
and contained in Certificate of Title, Volume 93, folio 15 ”;
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall
at any time be erected on the land fronting the south-eastern side
of the portion of Edward Street (described in the Schedule hereto)
within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the
said portion of street.
