PURSUANT to the powers vested in it by the Christchurch District Drainage Amendment Act, 1922, the Christchurch Drainage Board hereby resolves that the boundary of the said Special Area hereinbefore described and defined shall be further altered so as to include in the said Special Area all those areas more particularly described in the Schedules hereto; and further resolves that the said areas shall form part of and be included in the Subdivision B of the said Special Area, and that the boundaries of the said Subdivision B shall be altered accordingly so as to include all those areas more particularly described in the Schedules hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE

ALL that area of land in the County of Heathcote, of the Canterbury Land District, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the intersection of the north-eastern side of the Christchurch–Lyttelton Railway with the northerly production of the western boundary of Lot 3, Deposited Plan No. 389, being a point on the existing boundary of the Christchurch Drainage District; thence southerly by a right line to and along the said western boundary of Lot 3, Deposited Plan No. 389, to a point in line with the southern boundary of Lot 4, Deposited Plan No. 2128; thence westerly to and along that boundary and the southern boundary of Lot 3, Deposited Plan No. 2128; thence northerly and westerly along the eastern and northern boundaries of Lot 5, Deposited Plan No. 2128, to Opawa Road; thence north-westerly by a right line across that road to the intersection of its south-western side with the eastern boundary of Lot 1, Deposited Plan No. 118; thence southerly along the said eastern boundary of that lot to a point 300 links distant from the southern side of Garland’s Road; thence westerly by a right line parallel to and distant 300 links from the southern side of that road to a point on the eastern boundary of Lot 2, Deposited Plan No. 118; thence southerly along that boundary to its southern extremity; thence by a right line to the north-eastern corner of Lot 1, Deposited Plan No. 6660; thence westerly along the northern boundaries of Lots 1, 2, and 3, Deposited Plan No. 6660, and the eastern and southern boundaries of Lot 5, Deposited Plan No. 7605, to the north-western corner of the land in certificate of title, Vol. 468, folio 178; thence southerly along the western boundary of the said land in certificate of title, Vol. 468, folio 178, to Grange Street; thence south-westerly by a right line to and along the eastern boundary of Lot 10, Deposited Plan No. 11204; thence westerly along the southern boundary of that lot and its production to the south-eastern corner of Lot 8, Deposited Plan No. 11204; thence southerly and westerly along the eastern and southern boundaries of Lot 7, Deposited Plan No. 11204, to the eastern boundary of Lot 1, Deposited Plan No. 11204; thence northerly along the said eastern boundary of that lot and westerly along its northern boundary and that boundary produced to a point on the right bank of the Heathcote River, being a point on the existing boundary of the Christchurch Drainage District; thence northerly and easterly generally along that boundary to the point of commencement.

SECOND SCHEDULE

ALL that area in the County of Heathcote, of the Canterbury Land District, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the existing boundary of the Special Area of the Christchurch Drainage District (New Zealand Gazette, 1941, page 1016) on Albert Terrace, being the easternmost corner of Lot 3 on Deposited Plan No. 10297; thence south-easterly along the south-western side of the said Albert Terrace to the southern boundary of Lot 9 on plan deposited as aforesaid as No. 10297; thence westerly along the said southern boundary of that lot and northerly along its western boundary and the western boundaries of Lots 8, 7, 6, and 5 on plan deposited as aforesaid as No. 10297 to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Lot 1 on Deposited Plan No. 7566; thence by a right line to the southernmost corner of that lot, being a point on the boundary of the Special Area of the Christchurch Drainage District aforesaid; thence northerly and north-easterly along that boundary to the point of commencement.

THIRD SCHEDULE

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District commencing at a point on the Special Area boundary, being the north-western corner of Lot 1 on Deposited Plan No. 8624; thence north-westerly across Roscoe Street to the south-eastern corner of Lot 9 on Deposited Plan No. 12652; thence northerly along the eastern boundaries of Lots 9 and 8 on the said Deposited Plan No. 12652 to the southern boundary of Lot 7; thence easterly, northerly, and westerly along the southern, eastern, and northern boundaries of the said Lot 7, to and across a road to a point on the Special Area boundary; thence southerly and easterly along the boundary of the said Special Area to the point of commencement.

FOURTH SCHEDULE

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the Special Area boundary, such point being the north-western corner of Section 1, Wharenui Hamlet; thence southerly along the eastern side of Middleton Road to the south-western corner of the said Section 1, Wharenui Hamlet; thence easterly and northerly along the southern and eastern boundaries of the said Section 1, Wharenui Hamlet, to the Special Area boundary; thence westerly along the said Special Area boundary to the point of commencement, such area being the whole of the land contained in certificate of title, Vol. 170, folio 138 (Canterbury District Land Registry).

FIFTH SCHEDULE

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of the western side of Marshland Road with the southern boundary of Lot 12, Deposited Plan 4897, being a point on the Special Area boundary of the Christchurch Drainage District; thence northerly along the western side of Marshland Road to the northern boundary of Lot 3, Deposited Plan 12714; thence westerly along that boundary to the north-western corner of the said Lot 3, Deposited Plan 12714; thence southerly along the western boundaries of Lots 3, 4, and 7, Deposited Plan 12714, to the Special Area boundary aforesaid; thence easterly along that boundary to the point of commencement.

SIXTH SCHEDULE

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, being part of Reserve 212, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the Special Area boundary, such point being the easternmost corner of Lot 2 on Deposited Plan No. 2271; thence easterly across Rudd’s Road to a point on the north-eastern side of that road, such point being a prolongation of the southern boundary of Lot 2 on Deposited Plan No. 2271; thence south-easterly along the north-eastern side of Rudd’s Road to an angle in the said road; thence easterly along the northern side of that road, bearing 90° 49′ a distance of 284·9 links, to the western boundary of a Plantation Reserve; thence northerly along the western boundary of said Plantation Reserve, bearing 90° 10′ a distance of 2080·82 links, to the Special Area boundary on the south side of Page’s Road; thence westerly along the south side of Page’s Road, bearing 89° 55′ a distance of 190·15 links, to an angle in the said road; thence south-westerly and south-easterly along the Special Area boundary to the point of commencement.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND UNDER THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT, 1928
—

IN pursuance of the provisions of the Counties Act, 1920, and the Public Works Act, 1928, notice is hereby given that the Waimea County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work—namely, the construction of a road—and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken: And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the office of the Waimea County Council, 300 Trafalgar Street, Nelson, and is open for inspection (without fee) by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such land who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land must state their objections in writing, and send the same, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk, Waimea County Council Office, Nelson.

SCHEDULE

ALL that piece of land in the Nelson Land District, containing in all one acre one rood thirteen perches (1 acre 1 rood 13 perches), more or less, comprising part of Section 113, Native Reserve, Motueka District, Block VI, Kaiteriteri Survey District.
