Election of Member of North Auckland Land Board

Lands and Survey Office, North Auckland Land District,
Auckland, 20th February, 1946.

I, BASIL KING, Returning Officer for the election of a member
of the North Auckland Land Board, in accordance with the
provisions of section 47 of the Land Act, 1924, and the regulations
made thereunder, do hereby declare that the only person nominated
to fill the vacancy occurring on the said Board was Douglas Kitchen,
of Kaitaia ; and I do hereby declare that the said Douglas Kitchen
is duly elected a member of the North Auckland Land Board for a
term of three years as from the 12th day of April, 1946.

District Lands and Survey Office,
Wellington, 23rd January, 1946.

I, GEORGE IVAN MARTIN, Returning Officer for the election
of a member of the Wellington Land Board, do hereby notify,
in accordance with the provisions of section 47 of the Land Act,
1924, and the regulations made thereunder, that the only person
nominated to fill the vacancy on the said Board occurring on the
23rd day of January, 1946, was John Beresford Swan Dudding, of
Somersal, Marton ; and I do therefore declare that the said John
Beresford Swan Dudding is duly elected a member of the Wellington
Land Board for a term of three years as from the 23rd day of
January, 1946.

CROWN LANDS NOTICE

Land in Wellington Land District for Selection on Renewable Lease

District Lands and Survey Office,
Wellington, 26th February, 1946.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned sections are
open for selection on renewable lease under the Land Act,
1924 ; and applications will be received at the District Lands and
Survey Office, Wellington, up till 4 o’clock p.m. on Monday,
25th March, 1946.

Applicants should appear personally for examination at the
District Lands and Survey Office, Wellington, on Wednesday, 27th
March, 1946, at 10 o’clock a.m., but if any applicant is unable to
attend he may be examined by any other Land Board or by any
Commissioner of Crown Lands.

The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the
examination of applicants, and the successful applicant is required
to pay immediately at conclusion of ballot a deposit comprising
the first half-year’s rent, broken-period rent, lease fee, and amount
of weighting for improvements.


SCHEDULE

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.—SUBURBAN LAND

Kaitieke County.—Owhango Township

SECTION 16, Block VI : Area, 2 roods 4 perches. Capital value, £12 ;
half-yearly rent, 6s.

Weighted with £7 (payable in cash) for improvements, comprising
felling, grassing, and fencing.

Section 18, Block VI : Area, 2 roods 4 perches. Capital value,
£15 ; half-yearly rent, 7s. 6d.

Weighted with £9 (payable in cash) for improvements, comprising
felling, grassing, and fencing.

Section 20, Block VI : Area, 2 roods 4 perches. Capital value,
£15 ; half-yearly rent, 7s. 6d.

Weighted with £10 (payable in cash) for improvements, com-
prising felling, grassing, and fencing.

The sections front a formed pumice road off the main highway
and are about quarter of a mile from the post-office and school.
Sections 18 and 20 are fairly flat and good building-sites, while
Section 16 is flat at the front and steep at the back.

Any further information required may be obtained from the
undersigned.

Wellington, Married Woman, having been lodged with me together
with an application (K. 25941) for the issue of a provisional certificate
of title in lieu thereof, notice is hereby given of my intention to issue
such provisional certificate of title after fourteen days from the
date of the Gazette containing this notice.
