Manufacture for Sale of Footwear
Vivian Slippers, Ltd., Lombard Building, 24 Bond Street, Wellington, has applied for an extension of its existing license so as to permit the machining of uppers at Feilding.
Disabled Servicemen’s Re-establishment League, 407 Colonial Mutual Buildings, Wellington, has applied for an extension of its existing license so as to permit the manufacture of shoes and slippers at Napier Training Centre.
Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor-spirit
Motordrome (Auckland), Ltd., St. Mark’s Road, Remuera, Auckland, has applied for a license to resell motor-spirit from one pump proposed to be installed at garage premises, St. Mark’s Road, Remuera.
Wainui-o-Mata Transport, Ltd., Lower Hutt, has applied for permission to transfer two pumps from premises in Hutt Park Road, Lower Hutt, to a proposed new site in Randwick Road Extension, Lower Hutt.
Applicants and other persons considering themselves to be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry on these applications should, not later than the fourteenth day of March, 1946, submit any written evidence and representations they may desire to tender. Alterations in Funuataupu and Apolima Lights
(1) FUNUATAUPU
Position : Lat., 13° 59′ S. ; long., 171° 22′ W. (approx.).
New Abridged Description : Fl. 10 sec. 190 ft. 5 M. (U).
Alterations : Elevation has been increased to 190 ft. and visibility decreased to 5 miles. The tower has been painted white with vertical black stripes in the centre.
(2) APOLIMA
Position : Lat., 13° 49′ S., long. ; 172° 09′ W. (approx.).
Alterations : The visibility has been temporarily reduced to 5 miles, and the tower painted white with a vertical black stripe in the centre.
Chart affected : No. 1730.
