Price Order No. 476 (Amending Price Order No. 317) (Apples and Pears)

PURSUANT to the powers conferred on it by the Control of Prices Emergency Regulations 1939,* the Price Tribunal, acting with the authority of the Minister of Industries and Commerce, doth hereby make the following amending Price Order:—

  1. This Order may be cited as Price Order No. 476, and shall be read together with and deemed part of Price Order No. 317† (hereinafter referred to as the principal Order).

  2. This Order shall come into force on the 14th day of January, 1946.

  3. The First and Second Schedules to the principal Order, as set out in Price Orders No. 449‡ and No. 408‡, are hereby revoked, and the following Schedules substituted therefor respectively:—

CROWN LANDS NOTICES

Town Land in Auckland Land District for Selection on Renewable Lease

Auckland District Lands and Survey Office,
Auckland, 7th January, 1946.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned sections are open for selection on renewable lease under the Land Act, 1924; and applications will be received at the Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, up to 11 o’clock a.m. on Monday, 25th February, 1946.

Applicants should appear personally for examination at the Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, on Tuesday, 26th February, 1946, at 10.30 o’clock a.m., but if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.

The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the examination of applicants, and the successful applicant is required to pay immediately at conclusion of ballot a deposit comprising the first half-year’s rent, broken-period rent, lease fee, and deposit in reduction of weighting for improvements.

SCHEDULE
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—TOWN LAND
Te Kuiti Borough.—Te Kuiti Native Township
ALLOTMENT 11, Block X: Area, 36·8 perches. Capital value, £760; half-yearly rent, £19.

Weighted with £740 for improvements, comprising a block of five shops with two outbuildings, also four-roomed cottage with outbuilding. This sum is payable in cash, or, after payment of a deposit of £90, the balance may be paid over a fifteen-year term by half-yearly instalments of £31 1s. 4d. (principal and interest).

The property comprises business premises having a frontage of 75 ft. to Rora Street (the main street) at south end of town and handy to the railway-station.

NOTE.—The successful applicant will be required to take over the five existing tenancies.
