Additional Land at Porirua taken for the Purposes of the Wellington–Foxton Railway

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Wellington–Foxton Railway.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land taken:—

A. R. P. Being
0 0 27 Part road in Proclamation 2613; coloured green, edged green.
0 1 16·9 Part road in Proclamation 2562; coloured green, edged green.
0 0 27 Part Kenepuru 1A; coloured sepia.
0 0 30 Part Kenepuru Stream-bed; coloured orange.
0 0 27 Part Porirua Stream-bed; coloured orange.

Situated in Blocks I and II, Belmont Survey District, Makara County. (S.O. 21356.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 8072, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 8th day of December, 1945.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Kaipara–Waikato Railway.

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 8064, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Declaring Land acquired for a Government Work, and not required for that Purpose, to be Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land: 8·2 perches.

Being Lot 195 of the Kauaeranga No. 13 Block, Borough of Thames, excepting all mines and minerals upon and under the said land as are excepted by Conveyance No. 103284 (R. 22/564), and being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 559, folio 268 (Auckland Land Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 8th day of December, 1945.

Leasehold Estate or Interest in Land in the Borough of Hamilton taken for Housing Purposes

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the leasehold estate or interest in the land described in the Schedule hereto, held from the Waikato Hospital and Charitable Aid Board by G. W. Vercoe and Company, Limited, of Hamilton, under memorandum of lease registered in the Land Registry Office at Auckland under number 14767, is hereby taken for housing purposes; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the seventeenth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land in respect of which the leasehold estate or interest is taken: 8 acres 3 roods 21·8 perches.

Being part Allotment 86, Pukete Parish (D.P. 23609).
