Exempting certain Patriotic Purposes from the Patriotic Purposes Emergency Regulations 1939

PURSUANT to clause (5) of Regulation 3 of the Patriotic Purposes Emergency Regulations 1939, I, William Edward Parry, Minister of Internal Affairs, do hereby exempt from the application of the said regulations:—
-
The collection of moneys by the New Zealand Council of Organizations for Relief Service Overseas for the particular purpose of meeting expenditure incidental to the despatch and maintenance of volunteer relief personnel overseas; and
-
Such other collections of moneys or goods for any other object of that Council as may from time to time be approved by the Minister of Internal Affairs.

Industrial Man-power Emergency Regulations 1944.—Amendments to Declaration of Essential Industry No. 6
IN pursuance of the powers conferred upon him by Regulation 11 of the Industrial Man-power Emergency Regulations 1944, the Minister of Industrial Man-power doth hereby amend the Declaration of Essential Industry No. 6, as published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 8 of the 22nd January, 1942, and amended by notices in the New Zealand Gazette No. 36 of the 9th April, 1942, the New Zealand Gazette No. 42 of the 3rd June, 1943, and the New Zealand Gazette No. 66 of the 25th October, 1945, by adding thereto the following proviso:—
“Provided that this declaration shall not apply to the Hospital Boards set forth hereunder and public hospitals operated by them :—
“Bay of Plenty Hospital Board.
“Grey Hospital Board.
“Hawera Hospital Board.
“Hokianga Hospital Board.
“Mangonui Hospital Board.
“Opotiki Hospital Board.
“South Canterbury Hospital Board.
“Taumarunui Hospital Board.
“Tauranga Hospital Board.
“Waiapu Hospital Board.
“Waikato Hospital Board.
“Whangaroa Hospital Board.”
