Additional Land at Christchurch taken for the Purposes of the Hurunui-Waitaki Railway

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Hurunui-Waitaki Railway.

Situated in Block XI, Christchurch Survey District, City of Christchurch.

In the Canterbury Land District ; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plans marked and coloured as above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 16th day of November, 1945.

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Kaipara-Waikato Railway.

In the North Auckland Land District ; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 8054, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 19th day of November, 1945.

Allocating Land taken for a Railway to the Purposes of a Street at Christchurch

A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms part of land taken for the purposes of the Hurunui-Waitaki Railway, and it is considered desirable to allocate such land to the purposes of a street :

Now, therefore, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become a street, and that the said street shall be under the control of the Christchurch City Council, and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.
