CROWN LANDS NOTICE

Land in Auckland Land District for Selection on Optional Tenures

Auckland District Lands and Survey Office,
Auckland, 13th November, 1945.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned section is open for selection on optional tenures under the Land Act, 1924; and applications will be received at the Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, up to 11 o'clock a.m. on Monday, 10th December, 1945.

Applicants should appear personally for examination at the Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, on Tuesday, 11th December, 1945, at 10.30 o'clock a.m., but if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.

The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the examination of applicants, and the successful applicant will be required to pay immediately at conclusion of ballot a deposit comprising the first half-year's rent, broken-period rent, lease fee, and amount of weighting for improvements.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.-THIRD-CLASS LAND
Kawhia County.-Pirongia Survey District
SECTION 18, Block VI : Area, 118 acres 2 roods. Capital value, £90. Deposit on deferred payments, £10. Half-yearly instalment on deferred payments (term: ten years), £5 5s. 1d. Renewable lease : Half-yearly rent, £1 16s.

Weighted with £60 (payable in cash) for improvements, comprising road-fencing, pasture, and old whare.

An undulating to hilly section on Pirongia West Road (metalled), two miles from Te Rau-a-moa Post-office and ten miles from Oparau Township. About 100 acres felled but partly reverted, the balance being in bush; soil is light loam on clay and sandstone, watered by streams. The property is suitable for grazing in conjunction with some established farm.

EVIDENCE of the loss of Memorandum of Sub-mortgage No. 222841, affecting Mortgage No. 222546, over all the land in certificate of title, Vol. 314, folio 137 (Auckland Registry), whereof Norma Georgina Owen, of Otahuhu, Widow, is the sub-mortgagor, and EDWARD CIVIL, of Otahuhu, Grocer, is the sub-mortgagee, having been lodged with me together with an application to register a transmission and release of the said Sub-mortgage No. 222841 without production of the outstanding copy thereof in terms of section 40 of the Land Transfer Act, 1915, notice is hereby given of my intention to register such transmission and discharge after fourteen days from 15th November, 1945.
