Land taken for Police Purposes (Inspector’s Residence) in the City of Dunedin

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for police purposes (Inspector’s residence); and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the fifth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 23·96 perches.
Being Lot 30, Hopetoun Estate, D.P. 2284, being part Section 60, Block VI, Town District (City of Dunedin) (Otago R.D.). (S.O. 9421.)

In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 120770, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 26th day of January, 1945.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a gravel-pit and shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Grey; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the fifth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a metal-pit; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the fifth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five.

Revoking Part of a Proclamation taking Land for a Native School in Block II, Arowhenua Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke so much of the Proclamation dated the twenty-first day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty-one, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 44 of the twenty-ninth day of the same month, at page 1465, and deposited in the Land Registry Office at Christchurch as No. 1786, taking land for a Native school in Block II, Arowhenua Survey District, as affects the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land not required: 1 acre.
Being Section 9, Arowhenua Village, part Native Reserve 881.
Situated in Block II, Arowhenua Survey District (Canterbury R.D.).

In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 109421, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged orange.

Revoking Part of a Proclamation defining the Middle-line of a Road in Blocks V and VI, Paekakariki Survey District—viz., Portion of the Plimmerton–Paekakariki Road

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the sixteenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 42 of the seventeenth day of the same month at page 1459, and deposited in the Land Registry Office at Wellington as No. 2568, defining the middle-line of a road in Blocks V and VI, Paekakariki Survey District—viz., portion of the Plimmerton–Paekakariki Road—in so far as it affects the area of 39·87 perches situate in Block V of the said survey district, being part Waimapihi Block, being also part Lots 36, 37, and 38 on D.P. 8279, Town of Pukerua Extension No. 8, and being all the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 499, folio 121 (Wellington Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 26th day of January, 1945.
