the Magistrates’ Court at Cambridge for the purposes of the
Destitute Persons Amendment Act, 1926, on and from the 1st
day of October, 1945.
Jack Tasman Arthur Beaumont
to be Registrar at Blenheim of the Supreme Court of New Zealand
and Sheriff for the District of Marlborough for the purposes of the
Judicature Act, 1908, Registrar and Marshal at Blenheim of the
Supreme Court of New Zealand in respect of its jurisdiction as a
Colonial Court of Admiralty under the Colonial Courts of Admiralty
Act, 1890, Clerk of the Magistrates’ Court at Blenheim for the
purposes of the Magistrates’ Courts Act, 1928, Clerk of the Warden’s
Court, Receiver of Gold Revenue, and Mining Registrar at Blenheim
for the Mining District of Marlborough constituted under the Mining
Act, 1926, Official Assignee at Blenheim for the Supreme Court
District of Nelson for the purposes of the Bankruptcy Act, 1908,
Clerk of the Licensing Committee for the District of Marlborough
for the purposes of the Licensing Act, 1908, Registrar of Electors
and Returning Officer for the Electoral District of Marlborough for
the purposes of the Electoral Act, 1927, and its amendments, and
Returning Officer for the Marlborough Licensing District for the
purposes of the Licensing Act, 1908, and its amendments, on and
from the 16th day of July, 1945.

Portions of Hokianga Consolidation Scheme confirmed
In the matter of section 161 of the Native Land Act, 1931, and
in the matter of an application to the Native Land Court
to prepare a scheme in respect of Te Ahikawariki and other
blocks.
NOTICE is hereby given that partial schemes of consolidation
dealing with the subdivisions of Rangiawhia and other blocks
within the Tokerau Native Land Court District, being the second
and final instalment of the Taheke Sub-series or Series AA of the
Hokianga Consolidation Scheme and the final instalment of the
Otata Sub-series or Series D of the said consolidation scheme,
having been prepared by the Native Land Court in accordance
with the above Act and submitted under the seal of the said Court
to the Native Minister for his approval, I, Henry Greathead Rex
Mason, Native Minister, being satisfied that the partial schemes so
submitted are just and equitable and are in the public interest,
do hereby confirm the said partial schemes of consolidation so
submitted.

Date of Election by Fire-insurance Companies to fill Extraordinary
Vacancies on the Te Aroha, Waihi, and Morrinsville Fire
Boards

PURSUANT to the Fire Brigades Act, 1926, and the rules
thereunder, the Minister charged with the administration
of the said Act doth appoint Wednesday, the 17th October, 1945,
to be the date for holding the election of one member of each of
the Te Aroha, Waihi, and Morrinsville Fire Boards by the fire-
insurance companies concerned, such election being held to fill the
extraordinary vacancies caused by the resignation of Mr. H. V.
Tregear.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions
of the Public Works Act, 1928, to execute a certain public
work—to wit, the construction of a technical school—and for the
purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule
hereto is required to be taken : And notice is hereby further given
that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in
in the post-office at Lower Hutt and is there open for inspection ;
and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public
work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any
well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work
or to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and
send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of
this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

IN terms of Regulation 5 of the Motor-drivers Regulations 1940,

Industrial Man-power Emergency Regulations 1944.—Amendment to
Declaration of Essential Undertakings No. 154
IN pursuance of the powers conferred upon him by Regulation 11
of the Industrial Man-power Emergency Regulations 1944,
the Minister of Industrial Man-power doth hereby amend the
Declaration of Essential Undertakings No. 154 by including therein
the undertaking set forth hereunder :—
The construction of a new factory, seed store, and cleaning-
shed for the Linseed Products Division of Dominion
Industries, Ltd., at Dunedin.
