The North-western Side of Portion of Sails Street and the South-western Side of Portion of Union Street, in the City of Christchurch, exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line

At the Government House at Wellington, this 3rd day of October, 1945

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Christchurch City Council on the seventh day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five, viz. :—

“ The Christchurch City Council, being the local authority having control of the streets of the City of Christchurch, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to the north-western side of Sails Street and the south-western side of Union Street adjoining Lots 7, 8, and 9, D.P. 587, being the land contained in Certificates of Title, Volume 115, folio 290, and Volume 397, folio 48 ” ;

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the north-western side of the portion of Sails Street or the south-western side of the portion of Union Street (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of forty-eight feet from the centre-lines of the said portions of streets.

SCHEDULE

THE north-western side of all that portion of street situated in the Canterbury Land District, City of Christchurch, known as Sails Street, fronting Lots 7 and 8 and part Lot 9, D.P. 587, part of Rural Section 203.

Also the south-western side of all that portion of street situated in the said land district and city, known as Union Street, fronting part Lot 9, D.P. 587, part of Rural Section 203.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 121820, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Auckland City Council on the thirtieth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five (the side and portion of street affected by such resolution being more particularly described in the Schedule hereto), viz. :—

“ The Auckland City Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the City of Auckland, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to that portion of Laurie Avenue, Parnell, fronting a subdivision of Lot 2 on D.P. 23597, being part Allotment 13, Section 4, Suburbs of Auckland ” ;

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the north-western side of the portion of Laurie Avenue (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of street.

SCHEDULE

THE north-western side of all that portion of street situated in the North Auckland Land District, City of Auckland, known as Laurie Avenue, fronting part Allotment 13, Section 4, Suburbs of Auckland (D.P. 23597). As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 122305, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

The South-western Side of Portion of Fairfax Street, in the City of Dunedin, exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Dunedin City Council on the thirteenth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five, viz. :—

“ That the Dunedin City Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the City of Dunedin, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to the south-western side of the portion of Fairfax Street adjoining part Lot 33, D.P. 858, Township of Bishopscourt, being parts Sections 1 and 3, Block III, Upper Kaikorai District, such land being comprised and described in Certificate of Title 257/179 (Ltd.) ” ;

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the south-western side of the portion of Fairfax Street (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of street.

SCHEDULE

THE south-western side of all that portion of street situated in the Otago Land District, City of Dunedin, known as Fairfax Street, fronting part Lot 33, D.P. 858, Township of Bishopscourt, being parts Sections 1 and 3, Block III, Upper Kaikorai District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 122141, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Southland County Council required under the Town-planning Act, 1926, to prepare and submit to the Town-planning Board an Extra-urban Planning Scheme for an Area adjacent to Invercargill City

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

WHEREAS the Southland County Council is the responsible authority within the meaning of the Town-planning Act, 1926, of a certain rural area as defined in the said Act—namely, the Southland County :

And whereas His Excellency the Governor-General is of opinion that settlement is taking place within a certain defined area within the rural area aforesaid—namely, the defined area described in the Schedule hereto—at such a rate that the preparation of an extra-urban planning scheme is deemed advisable in the public interest :

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section twenty-five of the Town-planning Act, 1926, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby require the Southland County Council to prepare and submit to the Town-planning Board before the thirtieth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and forty-six, an extra-urban planning scheme in respect of the said area described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

ALL that area in the Southland Land District, in the Invercargill and New River Hundreds, bounded towards the east generally by Sections 95 and 91, a line across the Seaward Bush Railway to the south-western corner of Section 66, by Sections 66, 54, 57, 79, and 69, all of Block XXIII, Invercargill Hundred, part Section 15, a line across Section 18 to the south-western corner of part Section 25, by parts Section 25, by Section 20, all of Block VII, Invercargill Hundred, by Lot 1 on a plan numbered 3135, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Invercargill, by Section 22, Block V, Invercargill Hundred, and by a road forming the western boundaries of Sections 22, 24, 26, 28, 30, 32, 34, 36, and 38, Block V aforesaid, and Sections 1 and 2, Block XI, Invercargill Hundred ; towards the north by the road forming the southern boundaries of Sections 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15, Block X, Invercargill Hundred ; towards the east by a road forming the western boundaries of Sections 15, 16, 31, 32A, and 32, Block X, Invercargill Hundred, and Section 32,
