Weighted with £200 for improvements, comprising clearing, grassing, and fencing.
This sum is payable in cash, or on terms to be arranged.
The section is situated in Raupo Road, Ohakune, one mile from the Post-office and School, and two miles from the Railway-station. The land is flat, damp in winter, and is suitable for grazing, dairying, or vegetable-growing.

Education Reserve in Wellington Land District for Selection on Renewable Lease
District Lands and Survey Office,
Wellington, 25th September, 1945.
NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned education reserve is open for selection on renewable lease under the Land Act, 1924, and the Education Reserves Act, 1928, and applications will be received at the District Lands and Survey Office, Wellington, up to 4 o’clock p.m. on Monday, 29th October, 1945.
The ballot will be held at the District Lands and Survey Office, Wellington, at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, 31st October, 1945, and the first half-year’s rent, broken-period rent, lease fee, and amount of weighting for improvements must be paid as soon as the successful applicant is declared.

This property is situated on the Ohakune–Raetihi Road, half a mile from the Ohakune Post-office and School, and one and a half miles from the Railway-station. The section is level to low-lying, and would improve with stumping and ploughing; suitable for grazing or vegetable-growing.

WHERNSIDE BURIAL-GROUND
In the matter of the Cemeteries Act, 1908, and in the matter of the WHERNSIDE BURIAL-GROUND.
NOTICE is hereby given by the undersigned persons, being not less than twenty-five adult members of the religious denomination known as The Church of the Province of New Zealand, commonly called the Church of England, acting under section 59 of the above-entitled Act, and with the sanction of the Minister of Health, that the land described in the Schedule hereto is dedicated and open as a burial-ground to be used only for the burial of the members of the said denomination.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Counties Act, 1920, and the Public Works Act, 1928.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Masterton County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work—namely, the construction of a public road—and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken: And notice is hereby further given that a plan of each piece of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the County Clerk to the said Council situate at Chapel Street, Masterton, and both such plans are open for inspection (without fee) by all persons during ordinary office hours. All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands must state their objections in writing, and send the same, within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice, to the Masterton County Council at the aforesaid office.
