Labour Legislation Suspension and Modification Orders revoked
PURSUANT to the Labour Legislation Emergency Regulations 1940, the Minister of Labour doth hereby revoke the orders specified in the following Schedule, viz.:

Notice to Persons affected by Applications for Licenses under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936
Taking of Fish for Sale
H. M. Beasley, Smith Street, Waihi, has applied for a license to permit him to operate his 26 ft. 16 h.p. vessel “Te Kaahu” (not yet registered), using trawl-nets, set-nets, drag-nets, long lines, and hand-lines, catches to be landed at Waihi.
G. Gatt (jun.), 93 Grey Street, Onehunga, Auckland, has applied for a variation of his existing license in respect of the “Waimana,” AK. 77, so as to permit him to operate a 25 ft. 25 h.p. vessel (to be purchased), using set-nets, drag-nets, long lines, hand-lines, and crayfish-pots, catches to be landed at Onehunga.
I. B. McNabb, Collingwood, has applied for a license to permit him to operate his 25 ft. 25 h.p. vessel “Rata” (not yet registered), using set-nets, drag-nets, long lines, hand-lines, and crayfish-pots, catches to be landed at Collingwood and Onekaka.
D. Summers, 55 Ellice Street, Wellington, has applied for a license to permit him to operate a 45 ft. 70 h.p. vessel (to be built), using trawl-nets, set-nets, long lines, and crayfish-pots, catches to be landed at Paremata.
F. H. Davis, 27 Mein Street, Newtown, Wellington, has applied for a variation of his existing license in respect of the “Waiwera,” AK. 75, so as to permit him to operate a 50 ft. 60 h.p. vessel (to be built), using trawl-nets, set-nets, hand-lines, and crayfish-pots, catches to be landed at Wellington.
Manufacture for Sale of Footwear
J. W. Moore and Son, Ltd., P.O. Box 73, Newmarket, Auckland, have applied for an extension of their existing license so as to permit the machining of uppers in Hamilton.
R. G. McKinlay, Signal Hill Road, Dunedin, has applied for a license to manufacture men’s, women’s, and children’s slippers by the cosy-sole process, and childs’, maids’, and youths’ footwear by the pre-welt and machine-sewn processes.
Manufacture of Radio Receiving-sets
M.A.S. Radio Service, 35 Customs Street West, Auckland, have applied for a license to manufacture car and portable radios only.
Manufacture of Gut from Casings
Brittain, Wynyard, and Co., Ltd., P.O. Box 1438, Auckland, have applied for a license to manufacture gut from casings.
Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor-spirit
Dalgety and Co., Ltd., have applied for a license to resell motor-spirit from one petrol pump installed at premises situated at Bank Street, Te Awamutu.
Persons considering themselves materially affected by the decision of the Bureau of Industry on these applications should make any desired representations in writing not later than the 4th October, 1945, to the Secretary, Bureau of Industry, G.P.O. Box 3025, Wellington.
