Notice of Final Winding-up Meeting
NOTICE is hereby given that a general meeting of the shareholders of Holah and Hedley, Limited, will be held at the premises of Abraham and Williams, Limited, Rora Street, Te Kuiti, on Friday, the 28th day of September, 1945, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of having an account laid before it showing how the winding-up of the company has been conducted and the property of the company has been disposed of.

WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Public Works Act, 1928, and the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, and their respective amendments.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Wellington City Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-named Acts and all other Acts, powers, and authorities enabling it in that behalf, to execute a certain public work—namely, for the purpose of a pleasure-ground at Campbell Street, in the City of Wellington—and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken.
And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the Public Office of the Town Clerk to the said Council in the Town Hall, Cuba Street, in the said city, and is there open for inspection (without fee) by all persons during ordinary office hours; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or the taking of such land should, if they have well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Wellington City Council addressed to the Town Clerk at his said office.
SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of land situate in the City of Wellington, containing approximately 4 acres 3 roods 27·7 perches, being part of Section 36, Karori District, outlined in red on the plan above mentioned, the said land being also comprised in certificate of title, Vol. 474, folio 263, limited as to parcels.

NOTICE is hereby given that a general meeting of shareholders of N.Z. Bulb and Rose Growers, Limited (in voluntary liquidation), will be held at the company’s office, Springlands, Blenheim, on Monday, the 15th day of October, 1945.

- To receive the liquidator’s account showing how the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of.

RESULT OF POLL
PURSUANT to the provisions of section 42 of the Rating Act, 1925, I hereby give notice that at a poll on the proposal that the adoption of the system of rating property on the basis of the unimproved value thereof be rescinded in the City of Lower Hutt, taken on the 8th day of September, 1945, the voting was as follows:—

And, as there were 1,276 votes more in favour of the proposal than against same, I hereby declare the above poll to have been carried.

(2) Annual volume (including index) bound in buckram, 25s. (Volumes for years 1940, 1941, and 1942 are out of print.)
(3) Serially as issued and annual bound volume, as in (1) and (2) above, on combined subscription basis, 42s. per annum in advance.
(4) Separate regulations as issued.
(5) Loose-leaf binder for filing serial issues, 10s. 6d.; postage free.
The price of each regulation is printed thereon, facilitating the purchase of extra copies.
Orders on the subscription basis should be placed now with the Government Printer, Wellington. Separate copies may be purchased at the Chief Post-offices at Auckland, Christchurch, or Dunedin.

(3) Those who died from accident occurring or disease contracted while training with or attached to the 1st New Zealand Expeditionary Force of New Zealand.
