The Taxi-cab Control Notice 1945

PURSUANT to the Transport Control Emergency Regulations 1942,* the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice and directs as follows :—

  1. This notice may be cited as the Taxi-cab Control Notice 1945.
  2. The Warrant issued pursuant to the said regulations on the 2nd day of September, 1942†, and the ten amendments of that Warrant are hereby revoked, and all Goods Transport Control Districts and Taxi-cab Control Districts constituted thereunder are hereby abolished, and all Goods Transport Control Committees and Taxi-cab Control Committees appointed thereunder are hereby dissolved.
  3. The areas described in Column 1 of the Schedule hereto are hereby constituted Taxi-cab Control Districts, and the persons specified in Column 2 of the said Schedule are hereby appointed to be members of the Taxi-cab Control Committees for the respective districts.

The New Plymouth Milk Delivery Scheme, 1942, Amendment No. 1

PURSUANT to the Delivery Emergency Regulations 1942, the Minister of Transport doth hereby give notice as follows :—

  1. This notice may be cited as the New Plymouth Milk Delivery Scheme, 1942, Amendment No. 1, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the New Plymouth Milk Delivery Scheme, 1942* (hereinafter referred to as the principal scheme).
  2. Clause 3 of the principal scheme is hereby amended by revoking in the reference to Zone No. 18 the words “ J. E. Taylor, Frankley Road, New Plymouth,” and substituting therefor the words “ Raymond George Uncles, New Plymouth.”

The Servicemen’s Settlement and Land Sales Act, 1943.—Notice declaring Land taken for the Settlement of a Discharged Serviceman

WHEREAS an application has been made for the consent of the Land Sales Court to a transaction which relates to the land described in the Schedule hereto and to which Part III of the Servicemen’s Settlement and Land Sales Act, 1943, applies :

And whereas the Land Sales Committee to which the application has been referred is of opinion that the land to which the application relates is farm land suitable or adaptable for the settlement of a discharged serviceman ;

And whereas the said committee, not being satisfied that the Crown had decided not to acquire or arrange for the acquisition of the land, did on the 23rd day of July, 1945, make an order determining the basic value of the land and no appeal from the said order was made within the time prescribed by the said Act or within any further time allowed by the Court :

And whereas the said land is not the land of any serviceman who is for the time being serving outside New Zealand in any of His Majesty’s Forces or in any British ship :

Now, therefore, the Minister of Lands, acting in pursuance of section 51 of the said Act, doth hereby declare that the said land is taken for the settlement of a discharged serviceman, and hereby specifies the 1st day of October, 1945, as the date on which the said land shall be deemed to be vested in His Majesty the King.

SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL those parcels of land containing two hundred and thirty (230) acres one (1) rood thirty decimal four (30·4) perches, more or less, being Sections 13 and 14 and part Sections 15 and 18, Block VIII, Invercargill Hundred, and being all the land comprised in certificates of title, Vol. 112, folio 76, and Vol. 127, folio 116 (Southland Registry).

As witness my hand, this 20th day of August, 1945.
