Authorizing John Douglas Leather, of Waimana, Farmer, to erect certain Electric Lines in the County of Opotiki

At the Government House at Wellington, this 25th day of July, 1945
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby authorize John Douglas Leather, of Waimana, Farmer (hereinafter referred to as "the licensee"), to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the electric lines described in the Schedule hereto on the following conditions.
CONDITIONS

LICENSE TO BE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS
THE license hereby conferred is subject to compliance by the licensee with the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935, the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, and the Radio Interference Regulations 1934, and with all regulations made or to be made in amplification or amendment thereof or in substitution therefor.
The conditions directed to be implied in all licenses by the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 shall be incorporated herein and shall form part of this license except in so far as the same may be inconsistent with the provisions hereof. -
SYSTEM OF SUPPLY
The system of supply shall be two-wire direct current. Electrical energy shall be transmitted at a pressure of 32 volts between terminals. -
DURATION OF LICENSE
Unless lawfully determined, this license shall continue in force until the 31st day of March, 1965, or until electrical energy is available from an Electric-power Board or other general public source, whichever is the earlier.
SCHEDULE
LINES adapted for supply as prescribed in these presents for the transmission of electrical energy commencing from the licensee's power plant situated in Tahora 2A D 2, Block VIII, Waimana Survey District, and proceeding thence in a westerly direction across the public road to the licensee's residence, also situated in Tahora 2A D 2, Block VIII, Waimana Survey District, the same being more particularly delineated by means of a red line on plan marked P.W.D. 119913, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of any other powers enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and with the consent of the licensee, doth hereby revoke the license dated the tenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven, and published in the Gazette of the seventeenth day of the same month, at page 1463, authorizing Norman Wells, Limited, of Mercury Bay, Garage-proprietors, to erect certain electric lines in the Township of Whitianga.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby authorize the Dunedin City Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto of a width less than sixty-six feet but not less than fifty-two and eight-tenths feet.
SCHEDULE
THAT proposed street in the Otago Land District, City of Dunedin, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 32Β·06 perches, more or less, being part of Sections 2, 3, and 551R, Block IV, Upper Kaikorai Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 121335, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the Otamatea County Council stopping the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto.
