Revoking a Proclamation taking Additional Land at Waterloo for
the Purposes of the Wellington-Napier Railway (Lower Hutt
Valley Duplication)

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in
me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power
and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis
Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the eleventh day
of December, one thousand nine hundred and forty-two, and
published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 112 of the seventeenth
day of the same month at page 2897, taking additional land for
the Wellington-Napier Railway (Lower Hutt Valley Duplication).
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal
of that Dominion, this 23rd day of July, 1945.

Land taken for the Purposes of a Public School in Block IX, Paritutu
Survey District

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested
in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power
and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis
Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described
in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a public
school and shall vest in the Education Board of the District of
Taranaki as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also
declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the
sixth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 10Β·3 perches.
Being part Section 68, D.P. 3397, Grey District.
Situated in Block IX, Paritutu Survey District (Taranaki R.D.).

In the Taranaki Land District ; as the same is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 121355, deposited in the office
of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged blue.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal
of that Dominion, this 30th day of July, 1945.

Altering the Boundaries of the Otago Electric-power District

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by the
Electric-power Boards Act, 1925, and of every other power
in anywise enabling me in that behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall,
the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
alter the boundaries of the Otago Electric-power District so as to
include the area described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area within the Otago Land District, being portions of
the counties of Clutha, Bruce, and Tuapeka, bounded by a line
commencing at a point on the northern boundary of the Otago
Electric-power District as at present constituted, being the north-
eastern corner of Section 12, Block 7, Waipahi Survey District ;
thence due north along the eastern boundaries of Blocks 7 and 8,
Waipahi Survey District, to the Pomahaka River ; thence generally
south-east along the southern bank of the aforesaid river, crossing
opposite to and proceeding due north along the eastern boundary
of the Glenkenich Survey District to the north-eastern corner of
Section 27, Block 8, Glenkenich Survey District ; thence generally
north-east across Block IX, Plantation Reserve, to the south-eastern
corner of Section 4, Block 9, Rankleburn Survey District ; thence
in a north-easterly direction along the south-eastern boundaries of
Section 5, Block 9, Rankleburn Survey District, Section 1, Block 5,
Crockston Survey District, and Section 2, Block 10, Crockston
Survey District, to the north-eastern corner of the last-named
section ; thence due north along the eastern boundary of Section 1,
Block 10, Crockston Survey District, to the northern boundary of
the aforesaid Block 10 ; thence due east to the south-eastern corner
of Section 2, Block 11, Crockston Survey District ; thence in a
straight north-easterly direction to Trig. L ; thence due north
along the eastern boundary of Block 14, Crockston Survey District,
to the road-line intersecting the aforesaid boundary, the line to
this point being, more or less, a portion of the eastern boundary
of the Southland Electric-power District ; thence generally east
along this road-line to Trig. E ; thence due east along the boundary
between Section 4 and Sections 3 and 2, being all in Block 16,
Crockston Survey District ; thence due east to the BΓ«lle Burn ;
thence generally east along the southern bank of aforesaid stream
to the northern boundary of Section 2, Block 1, Crockston Survey
District ; thence due east to the north-western corner of Section 5,
Block 15, Dunkeld Town ; thence along the boundaries of the
Otago Electric-power District as at present constituted as follows :
Generally south-east to the south-western corner of Section 2 of
6, Block 52, Tokomairiro Survey District ; thence south-west to
the south-eastern corner of Block 43, Clutha Survey District ;
and thence west to the commencing point. As the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 121602,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington,
and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal
of that Dominion, this 31st day of July, 1945.
