Price Order No. 397 (Amending Price Order No. 317) (Apples and Pears)
PURSUANT to the powers conferred on it by the Control of Prices Emergency Regulations 1939,* the Price Tribunal, acting with the authority of the Minister of Industries and Commerce, doth hereby make the following amending Price Order:—

This Order may be cited as Price Order No. 397, and shall be read together with and deemed part of Price Order No. 317† (hereinafter referred to as the principal Order).

This Order shall come into force on the 30th day of July, 1945.

The First and Second Schedules to the principal Order, as set out in Price Order No. 390‡, are hereby revoked, and the following Schedules substituted therefor respectively:—

Trailers and Wrecked and Incomplete Motor-vehicles for Sale by Tender
TENDERS close with the Secretary, War Assets Realization Board, Defence Services Building, Bunny Street, Wellington (postal address, Box 5080), at noon on Monday, 20th August, 1945, for the purchase of TRAILERS AND WRECKED AND INCOMPLETE MOTOR-TRUCKS AND CARS (Tenders Nos. 152 to 214 inclusive). Located at Vehicle Reception Depots at Cornwall Park and Mechanic’s Bay, Auckland, Nevis Street, Petone (Wellington), and New Brighton, Christchurch, and Army Holding Parks at Ngaruawahia and Trentham.
Tenders must be addressed to the Board’s Secretary in sealed envelopes marked “Tender No. . . . . . . . .” The highest or any tender not necessarily accepted. Schedules of conditions and lots offered may be obtained at the Board’s Wellington office, the offices of the Board’s District Executive Officers, Dilworth Buildings, Queen Street, Auckland, old Art Gallery Building, Durham Street, Christchurch, and also at the District Offices of the Department of Industries and Commerce at Christchurch and Dunedin.
