A PROCLAMATION
I
N pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in
me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power
and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis
Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto
to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land:

Situated in Block VI, Kawatiri Survey District (Nelson R.D.).

do hereby proclaim and declare that the portions of public reserve described in the Schedule hereto are hereby set apart for road; and
I do also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the thirtieth day of July, one thousand nine hundred
and forty-five.

Land set apart as an Addition to a Borough Endowment

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by subsection
nine of section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Cyril Louis
Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the
date hereof the land comprised in the piece of closed road described
in the First Schedule hereto, being land intersecting the endowment
for the Corporation of the Borough of Greymouth described in the
Second Schedule hereto, shall be deemed to be added to the said
endowment.
FIRST SCHEDULE
WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT
RESERVE 1859 (formerly closed road), Block IV, Hohonu Survey
District: Area, 3 acres and 5 perches, more or less.
SECOND SCHEDULE
WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL those parcels of land containing together 527 acres and
36 perches, more or less, being parts of Reserve 193, Block IV,
Hohonu Survey District, parts of said land being Lot 1 and part
Lot 2 on D.P. 426.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal

hereto.

Consenting to the Raising of a Loan of £3,000 by the Westland
Catchment Board and prescribing the Conditions thereof

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 18th day of
July, 1945
Present:
His EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS the Westland Catchment Board (hereinafter called
"the said local authority") proposes, pursuant to the
provisions of section thirty of the Soil Conservation and Rivers
Control Act, 1941, to raise a loan of three thousand pounds (£3,000),
to be known as "Administration Loan, 1945" (hereinafter called
"the said loan"), for the purpose of paying administration expenses:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in
pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred
on him by section eleven of the Local Government Loans Board
Act, 1926, as set out in section twenty-nine of the Finance Act,
1932 (No. 2), and of all other powers and authorities enabling him
in this behalf, doth hereby consent to the raising by the said local
authority of the said loan for the said purpose up to the amount
of three thousand pounds (£3,000), and in giving such consent
doth hereby determine as follows:-
(1) The rate of interest that may be paid in respect of the
said loan or any part thereof shall be such as shall not produce
to the lender a rate exceeding £3 15s. per centum per annum.
(2) The said loan or any part thereof shall be repaid on or
prior to the thirty-first day of March, one thousand nine hundred
and forty-seven.
