Time for taking Census

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section thirty-six of the Finance Act, 1940, and by section four of the Census and Statistics Act, 1926, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that a census shall be taken in the month of September, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five, on Wednesday, the twenty-sixth day of the said month, and the time with reference to which the particulars shall relate shall be midnight between Tuesday, the twenty-fifth day, and Wednesday, the twenty-sixth day of the said month.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 16th day of July, 1945.

Altering the Boundaries of the Tongariro National Park

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by subsection two of section two of the Tongariro National Park Amendment Act, 1927, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby alter the boundaries of the Tongariro National Park as described in the Schedule to the Tongariro National Park Act, 1922, by excluding therefrom the land described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

ALL the areas in the Kaitieke County containing by admeasurement 73 acres 3 roods 17 perches and 2 roods 38 perches, more or less, being those portions of the Tongariro National Park, now known as Section 2, Block XI, and Section 2, Block XIV, Tongariro Survey District, respectively. As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/1/64A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 16th day of July, 1945.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as street the land described in the Schedule hereto.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land proclaimed as street :—

0 0 0·03 Part Section 534, Town of New Plymouth ; coloured blue.
0 0 0·41 Part Section 535, Town of New Plymouth coloured orange.

Situated in the Borough of New Plymouth (Taranaki R.D.). (S.O. 8174.)

In the Taranaki Land District ; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 121427, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 10th day of July, 1945.

Land taken for a Drill-hall Site in the City of Nelson subject to Rights-of-way

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken, subject to the rights-of-way over part thereof created by Memoranda of Transfer numbers 1840, 8426, and 13269, Nelson Land Registry, for a drill-hall site ; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-third day of July, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken subject to rights-of-way : 18·9 perches.

Being Lot 2, D.P. 566, being part Section 153, City of Nelson (Nelson R.D.). (S.O. 9392.)

In the Nelson Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 121583, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 10th day of July, 1945.
