NZ 2448 Arthur Edward Vincent MATHIAS, on relinquishing his commission in the Reserve of Air Force Officers (United Kingdom), is granted a temporary commission in the rank of Wing Commander, with seniority as from 1st July, 1944. Dated 1st April, 1945.

Reduction in Seniority

Reversions

Acting Wing Commander Graham Carrick MARTIN reverts to the temporary rank of Squadron Leader. Dated 24th June, 1945.

Acting Squadron Leader Anthony Brownlow HORROCKS reverts to the temporary rank of Flight Lieutenant. Dated 20th June, 1945.

Transfer

Flying Officer Frank Herbert LESTER is transferred from the Reserve of Air Force Officers to the Active List, with seniority for rank and pay purposes as from 23rd May, 1944. Dated 16th November, 1944.

Relinquishments

Flight Lieutenant Edward James CRANG is permitted to relinquish his temporary commission. Dated 14th July, 1945.

The temporary commission of Flying Officer Donald Walton STEWART is relinquished. Dated 16th June, 1945.

Amendments

The notice appearing in the New Zealand Gazette No. 20, dated 16th March, 1944, page 255, under the heading “General Duties Branch—Appointments—As Navigators,” is amended, so far as it relates to “NZ 4216362 Sergeant Brian Morton WILSON,” to read “As Navigator W.”
