CHANGE OF NAME OF COMPANY

NOTICE is hereby given that CHECKER PARCEL DELIVERY, LIMITED, has changed its name to CHECKER DELIVERY SERVICE, LIMITED, and that the new name was this day entered on my Register of Companies in place of the former name.

MASTERTON COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Masterton County Workers' Dwelling Loan, 1944, of £5,000

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Counties Act, 1920, the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, and all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Masterton County Council hereby resolves as follows :—

"That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, principal, and other charges on a loan of five thousand pounds (£5,000), authorized to be raised by the Masterton County Council pursuant to the provisions of section 95 of the Counties Act, 1920, and section 17 (d) of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, for the purpose of the acquisition of land and the erection of workers' dwellings thereon, the acquisition of land and buildings, the conversion of any buildings thereon into workers' dwellings to include altering, enlarging, and improving the same, and all other charges incidental thereto, the Masterton County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one forty-fifth of a penny (1/45d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the whole of the County of Masterton ; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the first day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty (20) years or until the loan is fully paid off."

We hereby certify that the above is a true and correct extract from the minutes of a special meeting of the Masterton County Council held at Masterton on the 19th January, 1945.

(5) Loose-leaf binder for filing serial issues, 6s. 6d.; postage free.

The price of each regulation is printed thereon, facilitating the purchase of extra copies.

Orders on the subscription basis should be placed now with the Government Printer, Wellington. Separate copies may be purchased at the Chief Post-offices at Auckland, Christchurch, or Dunedin.
