Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Le Bon’s Bay Domain

Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

Clifford Wallace Henry Crotty,
Kenneth James Dalglish,
Mervyn Theodore McIntosh,
Leonard McCarthy Bailey, and
William Alfred Lodge

to be the Le Bon’s Bay Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Friday, the first day of June, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five, at three o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Le Bon’s Bay Hall, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

William George Hunt,
William David Boyes,
Leslie George Charles Willis, and
William George Smith

to be the Glentunnel Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Tuesday, the tenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five, at seven-thirty o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Glentunnel Public Hall as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

Authorizing the Exchange of Portion of a Reserve in Waipu Survey District, North Auckland Land District, for other Land

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

WHEREAS the land described in the First Schedule hereto is portion of a reserve for the Post and Telegraph Department: And whereas it is expedient that the said land should be exchanged for the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, which the Governor-General deems of equal value and more suitable for the purposes of the reserve:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section eight of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto may be exchanged for the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.

DESCRIPTION OF PORTION OF RESERVE AUTHORIZED TO BE EXCHANGED
North Auckland Land District

ALL that area in the Otamatea County, situated in Block XII, Waipu Survey District, containing by admeasurement 7·8 perches, more or less, being Lot 1 on D.P. 32237, being part Waikino No. 2 Block, and being portion of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 394, folio 235 (Auckland Land Registry). As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/3/445A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

SECOND SCHEDULE

DESCRIPTION OF LAND TO BE OBTAINED IN EXCHANGE THEREFOR
North Auckland Land District

ALL that area in the Otamatea County, situated in Block XII, Waipu Survey District, containing by admeasurement 0·2 perches, more or less, being Lot 2 on D.P. 32237, being part Waikino No. 2 Block, and being portion of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 321, folio 188 (Auckland Land Registry). N.Z. Infantry

2nd Lieutenant G. E. Morris to be Lieutenant. Dated 22nd December, 1944.

TEMPORARY RANK RELINQUISHED

N.Z. Infantry

Major (temp. Lieutenant-Colonel) E. J. Thomson, E.D., relinquishes the temporary rank of Lieutenant-Colonel and assumes the acting rank of Lieutenant-Colonel. Dated 19th April, 1945.
