Land taken for Defence Purposes in Block XIV, Reinga Survey District, together with a Right-of-access thereto

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for defence purposes, together with a right-of-access thereto for His Majesty's servants, agents, and workmen from time to time and at all times hereafter to go, pass, and repass with or without horses and other animals or vehicles by a track approximately on the line of a native track from the lighthouse right-of-way to Taupiri, shown on a plan in the Crown Lands Office, Auckland, No. 8508, such right-of-access to be held appurtenant to the area of 1 rood 19Β·9 perches described in the Schedule hereto; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-eighth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 1 rood 19.9 perches. Being part Muriwhenua Block.

Situated in Block XIV, Reinga Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 33049.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 119087, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 22nd day of May, 1945.

Land taken for a Secondary School in the City of Wellington

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a secondary school subject to Grants of Right-of-way numbers 50551 and 74890 and subject also to Grant of Drainage Right number 66840; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-eighth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 38.1 perches. Being part Section 595, Town of Wellington ; coloured orange.

Situated in Block VI, Port Nicholson Survey District (City of Wellington). (S.O. 21240.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 120973, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Revoking Portion of a Proclamation taking Land for a Secondary School in the City of Wellington

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the third day of March, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 17 of the eighth day of the same month at page 256, taking land for a secondary school in the City of Wellington, in so far as it affects the land described in the Second Schedule thereto.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 18th day of May, 1945.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as street the land described in the Schedule hereto.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as street : 3 acres o roods 17:18 perches. Being part Waikanae No. 4 Block.

Situated in the Borough of Gisborne (Gisborne R.D.). (S.O. 4212.)

In the Gisborne Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 121313, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Declaring Lands in the Canterbury Land District to be subject to the Provisions of Section 23 of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal Act, 1939

A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS by section twenty-three of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal Act, 1939, it is enacted that the Governor-General may by Proclamation declare any lands of the Crown to be subject to the provisions of that section to enable certain readjustment of leases and licenses to be carried into effect:

And whereas it is deemed expedient that the lands described in the Schedule hereto should be subject to the provisions of the said section:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities so conferred upon me by subsection one of the aforesaid section twenty-three, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that, from and after the date of the gazetting hereof, the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be subject to the provisions of the said section twenty-three of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal Act, 1939.
