Additional Land between Arahura and Hokitika taken for the Purposes of the Greymouth-Hokitika Railway

A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Greymouth-Hokitika Railway to take further land between Arahura and Hokitika in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:

Now, therefore, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land:-

0 2 11 Portion of Lance Road.

Situated in Block I, Kaniere Survey District, and Block XIII, Waimea Survey District, County of Westland. (S.O. 4379.)

In the Westland District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 7816, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 18th day of May, 1945.

Revoking in Part a Proclamation taking Land for the Purposes of the Greymouth-Hokitika Railway

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke so much of the Proclamation dated the eighteenth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and forty-two, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the same year at page 1148, taking land for the purposes of the Greymouth-Hokitika Railway, as affects the land described in the Schedule hereto.

Situated in Block I, Kaniere Survey District, and Block XIII, Waimea Survey District, County of Westland. (S.O. 4269.)

In the Westland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 6863, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 14th day of May, 1945.

Crown Land set apart for the Kaipara-Waikato (Huntly-Awaroa Branch) Railway in Block XIV, Rangiriri Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for the Kaipara-Waikato (Huntly-Awaroa Branch) Railway; and I do further declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-eighth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five.

SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of Crown land set apart: 1 rood 18Β·7 perches.

Being part closed road adjoining Railway land in Proclamation 3715.

Situated in Block XIV, Rangiriri Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 31968.)

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 120706, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 18th day of May, 1945.
